"I stumbled upon this restaurant while on a road trip and decided to give it a try based on its positive reviews on Yelp. Despite the upcoming eclipse drawing a larger crowd than usual, Edd's was bustling but efficient. One minor issue was that some customers seemed unprepared when ordering, despite having ample time to peruse the menu while waiting in line. I ordered dinner at the counter while my companion secured a table, and we indulged in some delicious Eclipse-themed cocktails for only $6.25 each. For our meal, we enjoyed 6 pieces of peel and eat shrimp, a house salad, and the steak and bleu salad. The chilled shrimp were served promptly after ordering, allowing us to savor them while waiting for our salads. Despite the busy atmosphere, our salads arrived promptly, with the house salad featuring tender greens, a hard boiled egg, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, cheddar cheese, and crispy potato sticks. The steak salad boasted similar greens, crumbled blue cheese, steak, sautéed mushrooms, and onions. The prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly and efficient."

"The pork chop dinner was good but the super nachos were definitely not super. It's a pool hall, mostly, and the atmosphere is dark, cavernous and gloomy. "We went here today because I had been there before on our way home from Tennessee and loved it. Was set on going again. Although the food was fine today, the biggest disappointment was the wine menu on our table. As you can see our wine was$20 on the wine list, but on the receipt it came out $28. I called it to the waitresses attention and she?s shocked (I can?tbelieve I?m the first to have this happen) and she takes it back because I didn?t agree to pay $28, I agreed to $20. She comesback and tells me she is sorry but she can?t change the price. I told her that?s not right, so she takes off the $6 kids meal inexchange for the mistake. They still got $2 extra from me which was better than $8. This was going to be one of our stops toand from Illinois to Tennessee that we travel OFTEN, but not now. I could have asked for a manager and pushed the issue, but weare heading home and it just wasn?t worth it. Watch your receipts folks.
