"The food was very good. Me and my mother enjoyed it a lot, despite the very small portion sizes. The service on the other hand was laughable. Our waiter was fine, but he never came to check on us. We spent 2 hours and 45 minutes in there, not necessarily by choice. The first thing we did when we were greeted by our waiter was order drinks, and about 15 minutes after us, a different table sat down next to us. That table got their drinks before we did. We decided we would order everything at once so we didn’t have to wait on our waiter again and again. But the food came out super slow as well. Yes, it was busy, but we timed it. After we finished eating all of our appetizers, it took 38 minutes for our (single) entree to come out. We ordered the seasoned duck to share. And it didn’t come out hot as I would have expected it to, it was warm. We didn’t order dessert either, we got our check as soon as we finished eating our duck. For how much we spent dining there, I am not satisfied with the experience. TLDR: food was good, small portions, extremely poor service"

Usual expensive NYC dining. Good menu and service. Right in middle of Rockefeller center next to The Christmas tree. View menu

Located in the heart of Rockefeller Center in NYC, USA, this restaurant is very close to St. Patrick's Cathedral. Unforgettable.

Very much enjoyed our visit. Great ambiance even though tables are a bit tight. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Food to come back for. And, a view of the tree!

Quick dinner before a play and we were happy. Excellent dishes and the waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and drink pairings. The bison and duck were delicious. The leeks were unique and outstanding. View menu

Food was ok and a bit pricey. Nice outdoor eating area, good service, nice vibe. Good overall experience. Good to go to if you looking for a chill spot to relax, sit outside to enjoy the weather and have a bite/drink.

Le Rock is a charming restaurant with an art deco style and high ceilings. The menu features French classics with a twist. Standout dishes include the small but delicious liver mousse, a modern take on the Waldorf salad, and the chicken. The duck was a bit overwhelming with Chinese five spices, while the escargot was not hot enough and the leeks were underwhelming. The wine list was a disappointment, featuring only natural wines that were expensive and unfamiliar. Unfortunately, the recommended Chablis was sour and the full-bodied red wine I requested turned out to be a light Loire. The restaurant was busy and noisy, so perhaps the experience just wasn't for me.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
