"It was a Sunday morning and we planned to meet some of our motorcycling friends for lunch. We originally made reservations for 12:45, but got down there earlier. They were able to seat us immediately. Fortunately, our friends got down there early enough to get a parking space because if they hadn't, parking is a mess there at the pier area. So we sat on the patio, which was nice, but kinda had an alleyway feel to it. Quite a bit of foot traffic, but not much of a view. The table they sat us at was pretty small. It had a bucket in the middle with napkins, utensils, and salt/pepper. There was no way 4 drinks, 4 large plates and everything else would fit on that small table. We had to ask for an extra chair to put the bucket and a few other things on. We ordered the Tequilla shrimp appetizer that was awesome. They also brought out chips with three different kinds of salsa that were also pretty good. I had the Tres Amigos Tacos, which were three tacos...one carne asada, one shrimp, and one lobster. Those were all very good as well. My g/f had the lobster fajitas tacos, She said her's were very tasty and she liked them. We got there early enough to beat the lunch crowd, so they were not busy. Our food came out pretty quickly and was all very hot and fresh. It may be weird, but one of the ways I generally rate service is by my drink glass. Today I had water, and I had to ask several times for a refill. I like the waiter/waitress that sees a half full glass and either refills it, or at least asks if you'd like a refill. Overall, this was a very nice lunch experience. I'd go back, but I'd like to try the Old Town San Diego location next time."

Everything was seasoned to perfection. All the food was so good and the chips and salsa made for a great starter! TVs all around to allow for watching sports. This place will be a must next time I'm in Newport area View menu

My husband and I choose Rockin Baja Lobster to spend our 30th Valentine's Day for our romantic dinner, we were not disappointed. The food was amazing and the Ryan was a great waiter!! We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery.

My girl took me for my birthday, and it's always great. It was her and her daughters first time and they really enjoyed it. Only issue is its sooooooo far away and the table they put us at was right in the middle of all the people traffic. Aside from that I would have gave them 5 stars!!! I will be back, I always have fun and get wonderfully delish food...... Deuces!!!

We went to Rockin' Lobster for my birthday lunch and enjoyed buckets of lobsters. They are delicious with the most amazing seasoning. So amazing that we bought two bottles to take home to put on our own grilled seafood. The service is really terrific. We were well taken care of by a really nice server who made my birthday lunch extra special by bringing me a fried ice cream. Thank you!!! We will be returning to this terrific restaurant soon! I booked a table on line for 6. When we arrived (5min earlier than our reservation) the receptionist told us she didn't know why our accepted on line because they had no room for us and she didn't know what she could do. Mind you she was also very unpleasant!! Finally she says she can seat us but the tables would be seperate... After that we sit and go over the menu... Our waiter comes to take our order and is rushing us and rather irritated that we had questions... The nerve of us to ask which margarita they recommend! I order the spicy cucumber and end up with a regular Cadillac margarita.... Unreal!!! Not a friendly face in the whole place. Not a smile. No customer service. No thank you!!...

During our beach vacation, we decided to take the whole family out for dinner one night. The grandkids are big fans of Mexican food and seafood, so this restaurant seemed like a perfect choice. The food was delicious, and the portions were enormous. Marissa, our server, was very attentive. Thank you, Marissa!
