"We’ve gone to Rodney’s many times for special occasions but last night, we were extremely disappointed. Definitely not the same food quality as we’ve had there in the past. My husband ordered the New York strip and it was flavorless and it had like a burnt like taste. He even had to put S P on it, which he never adds to his food! My son ordered the lamb chops which he has gotten there many times before and he also said that they just didn’t taste as good as they did in the past. He said that the lamb was just not as tender. My daughters boyfriend had the pork and he’s had it before as well and he also agreed that it wasn’t as tasty as it was the last time he got it. My daughter and I ordered the grouper and it was delicious, as always. We didn’t want to make a scene say that the food was terrible, so we just ate it. The waitress Julia was wonderful, but the rest of the staff were awful. The girls that they had cleaning off the table, not only did they try to take our plates one time before we were finished eating, they did it another four times. Again, I hate to leave a bad review but when you are leaving a restaurant paying, $350 (with no alcohol), it better be AMAZING! I hated that we went there for my husband’s very special birthday it was ruined by a bad meal. I am not sure if we will be back."

We have been here several times and the food service is always wonderful! The steak is always cooked to perfection and you can cut it with a fork! The staff is always great prompt with service and refills. We enjoy eating here and can’t wait to come back!

Took my wife there for her 63rd birthday. I thought they were going to do something but they didn't. The food was fantastic. The orderves were fantastic so that part of it was great. I highly recommend this for people. Just a little disappointed because they didn't wish my wife a happy birthday or do anything for that. When I made the reservations I indicated that it was her 63rd birthday. Then I got to call 30 minutes after we left asking if I was going there to go eat and I told the lady we just got done eating there and she said sorry about that.

This was our first experience with this restaurant and it will certainly not be our last. The staff was fantastic! So friendly and welcoming. They love working there and it shows: it was our anniversary and they had a card waiting for us at our table. That was the first restaurant to ever do that and it made our special day even more special. It’s the little things like that they did that enhanced our experience and made us enjoy ourselves even more. The food was so much better than we expected it to be. It is pricey but by the time you’re done with your meal you don’t even care how much it is because it’s worth the price. Chef Rodney can cook! We will be among that our anniversary spot fork...
