"had simply the worst experience of my life in a restaurant. romer in bellbrook. that comes from someone who worked in the food industry through the college, so I understand that everything is going through it. I came to eat .75¢ wings at night, so that that that could turn that down) and waited 20 minutes for my first beer. not a big thing at a busy night, but there were 4 other tables at the whole place. I've been counting. waited 20 minutes to even place my order, then return 15 for the server and ask if I needed anything else. I asked for another beer and after I left her for the fourth time in the kitchen after she was swamped and waited another 15 minutes, I asked for a box and the bill because I had to go. she brought it out to me immediately and I asked why the bill did not reflect the price she should have been. their answer was, they asked for a box, so it's full price if they want the special, they have to eat it here, and then got snippy about me what I ordered not a crazy crowd) when she was the only server. I told her to box and pay and even tipped when I "only left, but will not come back, nor will I bring back my network group for trivia nights. the management is obviously poor."

will not be back. service was not good, eating was not good. I was charged extra for my meal that the menu was wrong. they didn't know I had to ask what was included because I thought the menu was correct.

Even though they are short handed in wait staff the place is packed and service is quick. They have great bone in hot wings with very little vinegar taste like other places. The draft beer selection is limited but popular choices. We enjoy stopping by at least once a month.

this place is one of the most dirty disgusting places I've ever been. I and my wife came here three times and my wife was apologised by over served drunken youngs had management then again came bc it a nice place to bring our dog, sitting on their terrace I would never recommend this restaurant/bar to everyone. Called 4 seperate times at 5:57 on 3/11/22 to place a to go order and no answer. It went to voicemail each time. I understand it's during a busy time but I have never experienced a restaurant that doesn't answer their phone. I've heard great things about them and just moves to Bellbrook. Disappointed in my first lack of experience. Not sure I'll try again. Was really looking forward to it.

Garbage food and service. Wings are seem like they're from GFS... highly over rated. The place has needed upgrades for several years yet the bathrooms have had urinals out of order for several months...The wait staff and bartenders only cater to the locals and treat outsiders like they don't belong. Just another garbage hole in the wall overrated Dayton joint. Most ratings are from locals. Two thumbs down!

I’ve been delivering food for Door Dash and Grubhub for nearly a year and have never been treated as badly as the bartender at Romer’s treated me today. I walked in and didn’t say a word before she laid into me about how their tablet isn’t working, they had no orders, etc. She was extremely angry. Apparently some restaurant employees foolishly forget that we go to restaurants and bars as customers as well. I’ll never set foot in this establishment again. View menu

bartender on June 16th 2022 was rude, refused service, refused to serve water, and would not give its names, and he reacted with yo mama . does not come again. editing: I understand the need to limit the service to intoxicated people, but there is deliberate and then it is just rude. I was 0.037, so if they are even a little uncoordinated, they won't go here. I heard it was better prepared, but I'm not aware that it was my first time. Food took over 45 minutes to arrive and was cold when finally was at the table. Busy with 2 servers for entire place. Owner was also there and don't understand how he can be so clueless and not help his staff when they are obviously understaffed. Oh, I know why, because he was sitting around drinking beer instead of helping out when paying customers are thirsty and hungry and waiting for service. Long time patron and will not come back as it's been going down hill for some time. Plan on passing on the word that this once fairly decent place is definitely not worth your time waiting for the very mediocre and cold food once it eventually arrives.
