"This is one of my kids' favorite spots! The food is always fantastic. I usually share the Gluten-Free bowl with my wife—not because we need a gluten-free option, but simply because it’s delicious and large enough for two. The miso is also great, and the prices are very reasonable. However, the long bench could use some updating as it’s showing signs of wear. It seems like they play the same spa music on a loop, but we believe in supporting local businesses. The quality of the food is so good that any issues with the music and atmosphere don’t really matter."

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and were seated straight away. As the Burmese restaurant is in the area, we really looked forward to this experience. While we were in no hurry the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they urged to have a meal order at the same time. We wait to order the food until the drinks have been brought to us. We ordered the Burmese beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (fish noodle soup). The sauces on the meat stews were good, but not spectacular! The stew was definitely not tender. If you like tough meat then these dishes are for you. In addition, the Moh Hin Ga lacked taste and in the words of my colleagues: "I would not order it again". Also soft drinks and iced tea and refilled for free. Given the rush and subpar experience, won't be returning. Given their great Yelp reviews, it seems like there are plenty of customers out there who like it. Maybe we only visited them on a bad day or the normal cook wasn't around that day ..."

"Had a nice lunch here with my hubby on one of our days off. The sushi is good but on the pricier end. Service was friendly, although the robot server was a bit gimmicky. Didn't seem like it was adding value. Overall, the food was tasty and lots of dry ice for dramatic effect. I will likely return only for special occasions due to pricing, but the sushi tasted great. "Local bar with the local crowds of Mundelein and Vernon Hills. There's 2 section (restaurant vibes and bar vibes with TVs) plus a small room for slots. Our server was very nice and when we ordered didn't even write down what we order. She had it memorize which really impressive. You can tell she's pretty damn good at her job. All our order came out correctly.Food is okay. Nothing special but bar food.Pizza with sausage and mushroom extra crispy cause my husband likes it well done, thin crust.Fried mushroom well battered and seasoned. Probably one of my favorite place to get fried mushrooms.BBQ Beef sandwich (on a French Roll) came with fries and coleslaw. I requested the BBQ sauce on the side because sometime BBQ sauce can be too sweet for my liking and the one at Hitz was a little too sweet. I add hot peppers on the side which went well since it was a roast beef sandwich with bacon and cheddar cheese. Pretty good sandwich. I would get again.Overall I would come back for the food and drinks. Since the food is not bad and has many options from beers to liquor."

"I was delighted to discover Pita Inn during a recent field trip while driving. There was ample parking for a school bus, and the grounds were clean and inviting. The counter staff were incredibly helpful. I was impressed by the variety of options available for my dietary restrictions, and the food came out quickly. It was a pleasant place to relax while waiting. The dining room is spacious and well-maintained, and there’s outdoor seating with umbrellas. The food was spot on, making for a fantastic experience!"
