"We're Greeks by background, so we believe we can discern what constitutes good Greek food. This place is the real deal. They have the things you'd expect (souvlaki, gyros, moussaka), but also the less well known things that need uncommon expertise to be good. We had the octopus with skordalia, and the stuffed vegetables. Both were truly outstanding. The stuffed vegetables were superb, and intriguingly spiced to perfection. The octopus was tender and delicious. Despite a full parking lot, we were promptly seated, on a Friday night in July. The ambience was warm. Waitresses were pleasant and helpful. The owner circulated, providing hospitality, free samples of pizza and, after the meal, limoncello. All in all, we had a wonderful casual evening."

I have dined here before, with a very good memory of their food and service...but my last visit last week was not up to par...every restaurant can have an off night and I think that is what I experienced. Don't get me wrong...still a very good dining experience...Just a few flubs...I will still definitely return.

A really special place to dine out. The owner takes pride in making sure his guests have a first class dining experience. The Italian dishes are the equal of any restaurants on Wooster Street in New Haven. The Greek dishes are wonderful as well. Complimentary pizza slices at the start of the meal are a real treat. Wow! This place was awesome! Started off with fresh pizza bright to the table for tasting before we even ordered. The food was delicious. My calzone was stuffed full of toppings and cheese. This is a place where you could try something new everyday for a week and not be disappointed! The owner came by himself delivering us more items to try from the menu! Everything was so tasty! We would definitely return!

We went in with a party of 7. It took at least 15 minutes for a waitstaff to come over and greet us and take our drink orders. Another 15 minutes to get drink orders. Our entrees came out at different times, some people didn’t like the spice/flavors on their entrees. We had to call over the waitstaff to come get our check after waiting 15 minutes after they brought it over. The pace of this service was slow. The restaurant was filled with older people and it was louder than my dining room at work that seats 70+.
