"It was my first time here, and I have to give it the highest rating. Every dish we tried was delicious, and our server was outstanding. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and a herbal goat cheese omelette, while my wife enjoyed the Lobster Avocado Toast and the Peach French Toast. Everything was fantastic! I’m genuinely disappointed that I didn’t get to try the lobster toast for myself. Most of the baked goods were sold out, but we were still able to grab a few sweet treats at the last minute on our way out. The interior is charming and spacious, and the coffee was excellent. I can't wait for my wife’s next visit!"

"Hot, sweaty and hungry after a morning tour of the USS Lexington on a summer day in Corpus Christi, we were thrilled to find Yo Philly just a few blocks away. Unassuming, no frills, clean location that is a dedicated shrine to all things Philly. I can only imagine what a game day during the NFL season is like. The service was friendly, helpful (especially for this first timer) and fast! The food was hot and tasty. We had a basic cheese steak no onions (for our older teenage son) and two the beast from the east cheesesteaks. Got the combos with fries and a drink. The fries were seasoned just right and I enjoyed a side of brown gravy with mine. I also got a side of the not so hot pepper relish which was fabulous. Just the right level of heat and sweet that was the perfect compliment to my cheesesteak. One warning...southerners beware....as an authentic Philly transplant their iced tea is UNSWEET. I 'll give them some grace because the rest of our meal was amazing!! If you 're planning to visit Corpus Christi, definitely put Yo Philly Ceese Steaks on your must do list."

"I experienced swift service and a wonderfully friendly staff during my visit. When I mentioned it was my first time there, they kindly guided me through the menu options. I was simply looking for coffee and eggs, and they offered me a nice variety of choices, including different types of coffee. I felt truly welcomed, and the ambiance made for a lovely morning. It was a wonderful way to start my time in Corpus Christi. The coffee, eggs, and bacon were all delicious!"

"In short: It's a nice looking restaurant with a disappointing, very limited, and relatively expensive menu. We were excited to go as We've lived in the area for many years. Always heard good things about the restaurant, but what we received didn't live up to the hype. Water is served in a cold carafe, but no ice. Our calamari appetizer was under seasoned. I had the seafood jambalaya and that was acceptable to good, but not for the price. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. Mildly rustic, but classy at the same time. The service could have been quite a bit better and is the low point of this place. Had to wait over a half hour after our plates were taken from us to finally get our bill. Probably an off night for the wait staff, but it was not busy and impacted our experience. I personally wouldn't recommend it based off what I saw."

"this place is small, but the staff is always exceptionally nice and friendly. it can be a bit crowded around the lunch, and they often sell out their bakes that are not cookies, so it is best to get there a bit earlier than they might think they need. eating is always good and you can say that everything is done in the house."
