"This location is a hidden treasure. It has a very upscale feel to it while the location is set in a mall. The food is pretty good and the staff is very friendly. There is a great window view if you sit by it and it's nice and quiet. We only ran into one issue which was the cooks fault and not anyone else's. My wife ordered a sandwich without avocado because she is allergic. When the order came our server noticed that it had avocado on it as he set it down. He quickly apologized and took it back. The cooks in the back just wiped it off the sand which and sent it back out. When we received it there was still smeared avocado on the sandwich where the cooks knife didn't get it off. I asked for them to remake it because it still had the avocado on it lol. Other than the lazy cook the location and staff was great"

Outstanding as usual. Only hiccup was we had a new but adorable and kind server. She was a little confused about some things. It was really great though.

The food and service were outstanding! It was our first time dining here, but we will definitely return. Teri provided excellent service as our waiter. We dined in for dinner and paid around $20-30 per person. View menu

The atmosphere is clean, modern Scandinavian with amazing Italian food! The windows in this place are gorgeous, 10/10. The only flaw is that the only way to access it is through Nordstrom. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I ordered the blackened pollock special served over potato chowder. The dish had great flavors and was topped with delicious ingredients like celery leaves and dill. Unfortunately, the cheesy bread side that came with it was sitting in the chowder, causing it to become soggy rather than crisp. Overall, it was a good meal. The service was for dining in during lunch hours and the price per person ranged from $20 to $30.

The waitress waiting on us was incredibly rude with a major attitude problem. So much sass in her voice. No warmth whatsoever. The food is mediocre, nothing special. The hostess was great. Don’t work in the service industry if you don’t like working with people. We didn’t ask for much and even tipped the lady 20% despite her lack of kindness. Great food, great service, everything you'd expect from Nordstrom. Definitely would go back again. Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu with healthy options included in the meals. Even the fruit cup was a step above most restaurants. And the games and puzzles were were challenging enough to keep my 8 year old occupied til food arrived Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Penne Bolognese and Meatballs

For food, we started with the Brussels Sprout appetizer which was absolutely delicious. The sprouts were perfectly roasted and crunchy, and the spiced cashews added a nice touch. It was a unique twist from the typical goat cheese and honey brussels sprout starters. We also shared the Turkey Club sandwich which was even better as they split it for us along with a side salad. The salad was light and fresh, and the club sandwich was flavorful with generous portions of turkey and avocado. The bread was perfectly toasted as well. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Ridgedale!

"This is a restaurant I've been to dozens of times, and another that is pure comfort food. Even though they make a number of Jewish-style foods such as Matzo ball soup, bagels and lox, chopped liver sandwiches, and corned beef sandwiches, this is NOT a typical Jewish Deli. In fact, this Sunday, they are having an Easter Brunch with carved ham. Items like ham, bacon, and pork ribs are menu staples. This is the mixed marriage of deli's, but they have their heart in the right place. In a town with only one authentic Jewish deli that I can think of (Cecil's), this somehow comes in #2 with apologies to Jewish friends, family, rabbis, and anyone even remotely Kosher. (It's like when Red Lobster was rated the #2 seafood restaurant in the Twin Cities by Twin Cities Monthly). Ethnicity aside, almost everyone seems to be a regular and I'm pretty sure all customers qualify for Medicare. But that speaks to their staying-power. Crossroads is a family restaurant that has operated for over 25 years. The food is consistent and good quality at moderate prices (although these continue to increase with each visit, it seems). The overall menu is eclectic. Besides the items I've mentioned, they have Chicken Marsala, Quesadillas, Walleye and Mac and Cheese, all of which are good. If you are looking for a trendy restaurant or something hipster, stop reading this review and find something else. If you want a restaurant that feels like a well-worn, comfortable shoe, this is your place. As a bonus, they have a take-out deli on the other side of the restaurant (turn left instead of right when entering). There you will find the usual deli meats, but more importantly the very best caraway rye bread in the Twin Cities and that's a promise. You can also buy the matzo ball soup by the quart, frozen in containers. It's a good idea to have a quart of this in your freezer as a guaranteed cure for what ails you. If you are lucky, they will have bagel chips that they have made, which I also highly recommend. In the bakery, you will find a variety of cookies and other sweets. If you are a Minnesotan looking for the best Jewish/goyishe deli restaurant, give this a try."
