"A perfect storm of the less than ideal Our party of three had to wait 20 minutes for our table despite our reservation. The restaurant tried to be too creative with the many different menus, and it made figuring out what they serve, reading the menus, or understanding what we were ordering very confusing. The servers were very inattentive and had a lot of trouble giving clear explanations of the menus. The speakeasy portion of the restaurant was really cramped. The music from the larger restaurant was so loud we could hear it in the speakeasy. The restaurant ran out of something we ordered. The food was just ok, and the drinks were only slightly better. I will not be returning."

We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary at Blind Pig! The service was impeccable, and the food and drinks were amazing. Would definitely go back!

Awesome speakeasy in a busy restaurant. It was a little loud since there is a gap at the top of the door and you could hear the restaurant. For a speakeasy, the prices are decent and food was pretty good. Definitely only go for the speakeasy. Nothing too special about the restaurant. View menu

had an incredibly beautiful time to dinner at the blind pig. the food drinks were spectacular! my vodka soda, as simple as it was, had great taste I had not expected; the sweet erbse cavatelli was absolutely delicious; the beer sauce with pretzel bites was some of the best I ever had; and I literally ate all the s’mores dessert for me. our reservation time ended with the meeting hours mostly for us for most of our dinners, which made for an even more intimate special experience. we will definitely come back!

Had an unbelievably wonderful time for dinner at The Blind Pig. The food drinks were spectacular!! My vodka soda, as simple as it was, had great flavor that I hadn't expected; the sweet pea cavatelli was absolutely delicious; the beer sauce with pretzel bites was some of the best I've ever had; and I literally ate the entire s'mores dessert to myself. Our reservation time ended up leaving is with the speakeasy mostly to ourselves for most of our dinner which made for an even more intimate special experience. We will definitely be back again!!

I went to a blind pig for a night of data, and we let us feel underwhelmed. we had expectations of a special menu (for eating or drinking), ambiente and a new one. the ambiente was very nice, but we sat next to a column in the corner and couldn't see the room. there were other tables where the lighting and intentionally was more open and cozy, but I felt lined and had to stare at the empty wall. the food was very delicious, but we were sold on the idea of a menu specifically to the blind pig, and nothing was. the waiter was wonderful and he made good recommendations. I went to the blind pig for a date night, and we left feeling underwhelmed. We had expectations of a special menu (for food or drink), ambiance and something new. The ambiance was very beautiful, but we were sat next to a pillar in the corner, and didn't get to view the room. There were other tables where the lighting and view was more open and cozy, but I felt squished and had to stare at the blank wall. The food was very yummy, but we were sold on the idea of a menu special to the blind pig, and nothing was. The waiter was wonderful and he made good recommendations.

a perfect storm that less than ideal our party of three had to wait 20 minutes on our table despite our reservation. the restaurant tried to be too kreatiw with the many different menus, and it made to find out what they serve, read the menus or understand what we ordered very confusing. the server were very inconspicuous and had much effort to give clear explanations of the menus. the proverbial part of the restaurant was really cramped. the music from the larger restaurant was so loud that we could hear it in the talking. the restaurant ran out of something we ordered. eating was just okay, and the drinks were just a little better. I will not return.

"First time exploring the Huntington Beach food scene, and a local friend recommended Mama 's on 39. Special shout out to our server Eric who was super awesome, knowledgeable and took care of our table promptly and professionally. We ordered the KBBQ Pork Tots, the Loaded Biscuit Skillet, the Country Fried Prime Rib Eggs, and two house Waffles a-la-carte. First off, when the menu says Share Me Starters they really mean it. The portion size on the KBBQ Pork Tots are massive, 4+ people massive, we ate about half, as i wanted to try the main course but was already realatively full. The tots are savory and sweet and loaded to the brim with toppings, it 's not so much Korean BBQ as in they just mix in kbbq sauce over pulled pork but definitely still worth a taste. The Loaded Biscuit Skillet was good, i wish the biscuits weren 't so dense, but they were still soft and fresh, the gravy was a bit strange tasting, when i got a to-go box they gave us a couple cups with more gravy and the gravy we got to-go was way better than what was served, however i enjoyed the dish regardless. The Country Fried Prime Rib Eggs was delicious, the Prime Rib had a weird slippery texture to the meat, but was still very flavorful and delicious. Finally, the Waffles A-La-Carte. The waffles were a tie for first next to the tots. The waffles made me regret not getting the chicken and waffles dish. Next time. Mama 's on 39 is a great local restaurant to check out with a group of friends and/or family. My only real complaint is the portion size, i am not joking when i say the dishes are huge and not meant for just 2 people. Try it out, i am sure you 'll love it"
