"Every time I visit New York since 2013, I always begin and end my trip with a meal at Sakamai. Even after 10 years, the food continues to be exceptional. However, the service quality has changed, particularly with the staff at the bar. There was a lack of warmth and connection, and on my last visit, I experienced pure arrogance and disregard for customers. Despite this, the cocktails were still excellent. One issue is with their Happy Hour promotion. If they do not want to offer it, they should not advertise it. We had planned for a full dinner and ended up spending $350. We were initially seated in the restaurant and ordered Happy Hour oysters, only to be told we had to go back to the bar to get them. This led to confusion and inconvenience as we had to keep switching between the bar and our table. The treatment we received at the bar was disappointing, but the outstanding food will likely bring us back again. However, if the service quality does not improve, it may be our last visit. It's a shame to waste such great food on poor service."

This was our second visit to Saltwater Grill. The food was delicious and the service unmatched. We will definitely dine here again on our next visit to Galveston.

Really good food. The egg on egg on egg, uni makemen and the katsu sandro are a must try. We paid around 350$ for 3 people, which is a good deal considering the amount of food we got View menu

The food was tasty. The waiter was a little less than average as far as skill set. I didn't care for how they ran out of bread. It was very noisy in the section that we were sat in. But all in all it was not a bad experience just didn't knock my socks off.

Been coming to Sakamai since they opened, and it’s become a LES staple that we stop by multiple times a year and have brought many friends along. The Egg on Egg on Egg continues to be a standout, and the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Katsu Sando is a must. The current iteration of the Uni Mazemen brought back the original bone marrow offering, and the Dry Aged Duck offers tons of flavor with a minor sense of funk. Also, the Uni Hand Roll offers a hefty serving of fresh uni. Lastly, ambiance and service are great as always. Highly recommended for an amazing experience.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
