"Made reservations here as soon as we booked our trip. We loved all the food we ordered. Like many have said here before, the specialty rolls are amazing we tried Wedge and Ewa and loved both. We also had da bao, and mango nigiri and liked both. We had a sake this was our first time trying sake but we weren’t quite sure how much we liked it. Nevertheless it was nice to try something new. The chocolate yuzu cake for dessert was fantastic ! All in all the quantity of food was perfect for us, we were pretty hungry too when we ended up there. This is definitely a must visit place in Waikiki area for vegetarians."

"I find myself thinking about the brisket sandwich every couple of weeks. It’s the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever tasted, and nothing else has even come close. The side of pickled beans is surprisingly excellent as well; it pairs wonderfully with the already incredible brisket sandwich. My friends ordered different dishes, but I was so absorbed in my sandwich that I didn’t pay much attention to theirs. I’m sure their meals were good too!"

"My father (family in tow) had to go all the way from Perth, Australia to taste the kitchen on the dining channel. The whole family was not disappointed. We all enjoyed our meal and the great friendly service of Scott and his team. Could not stop talking about the great food for this value well after our return home weeks later."

"We arrived at 4:55 pm on a Monday and there was a line of about 20 people in front of us. There is no seating all take out. In took us about 50 mins to order and get our food. The staff was very friendly and ordering was quick. Overall, the quality of the fish was really high but I am taking a star away because my husband's poke had skin in it and my tuna had a bone left in it. He got the chirashi combo with spicy ahi poke and I had the big eye tuna donburi and added uni and ikura."

"1. Was seated outside of restaurant on a walkway/deck with small tables for two. Not in the restaurant but apparently an overflow zone. Was the only person sitting in this zone. 2. Lighting was extremely bright and waitress said people complained consistently but there was no effort to install dimmers by Managment 3. Waitress was attentive 4. The band playing below at Dukes was very loud and focused on R&R and Country. Could not even hear the ocean 5. Salad, appetizer and main dish arrived all at the same time 6. Food OK but not worth the cost. 7. No ambience at all 8. Perhaps if the table had been the restaurant it might have been a better experience"
