"This place is a diamond in the rough, it's definitely going to get more business now that there's a trader joes close. This place deserves high praise, the workers there are very nice and quick to fix something if there's a mistake. I've met the owner lee a couple of times and he's friendly and nice to talk to. Now the important thing, the food. The broth is suuuuper creamy and flavorful, I do wish the spicy super was a little spicy but I'm sure there's people who couldn't take it I've never loved hard boiled eggs, like at all. This place honestly has me ordering another there so good. The pork chatsu is a little bit gritty I think, but it doesn't take away from the overall flavor, a little bit sweet and has lots of umami. The design of the place is nice. Fun spinning chairs, nice and pleasing to simple minds like mine. Fun artwork made by local artists hanging on the walls. My favorite part is the noodle making encasement. Overall I would very much recommend giving this Place a chance, it will surprise you."

Absolutely amazing, my significant other and I have tried many a place in regards to ramen. This is my first time finding a 10/10 place. All around deliciousness, will definitely come back before I leave salt lake!! I tried the spicy super ramen! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50

I used to love this place but it has gone very downhill very fast and it’s sad to see. The staff no longer care, they hygiene is poor, and the food has become disappointing. I would come here multiple times a week but after this last experience, I will no longer be back. The Raman and gyoza were both delicious. We enjoyed the food very much. The server today (4/1) was by himself and was hustling. He did everything he could to keep things running and he did a very good job and deserves a raise. But they had 1 person doing all the work from cashier to host to waiter and busboy. It was impossible to be timely. Would love to come back for the food.

Samurai Noodle was excellent. I ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen and thoroughly enjoyed it. The broth was rich in flavor, and the pork was tender and delicious. I visited with a friend who is a ramen enthusiast, and they loved it so much that they returned the next day. We were part of a large group, but the ramen was served impressively quickly. The atmosphere is somewhat casual, but the focus is definitely on the ramen.

Wow, Samurai Noodle's ramen seems to be a hidden gem! It has an unpretentious and cozy diner ambiance, and friendly and prompt service. My husband and I had the spicy miso ramen and shoyu tonkotsu ramen, and the broths were divinely flavorful and creamy, the pork belly was super tender and rich, and their homemade noodles were perfect. This was some of the best and most affordable ramen I've ever had! We will be back for sure! View menu

The flavor was good, but the broth was lukewarm and the noodles didn't taste fresh made to me... The karaage was well marinated with a strong ginger flavor, but came in four large pieces with oil dripping from it. Other than that, authentic flavor and presentation. Food came out quick. A few suggestions for management: please change your plastic cups (putting my mouth on cracked gnawed cup was nasty), please play some sort of music (the lack of sound in general no servers, bustle, or ambiance of any sort was odd).

I visited this restaurant on a busy weekend night and found the atmosphere lively. The servers were very attentive, and we received our orders promptly. We started with the takoyaki as an appetizer, which was enjoyable; the balance between the octopus and batter was quite good. For our main courses, we had the Shoyu Ramen, which was decent, and the Spicy Miso Ramen. I asked to substitute the noodle type, and while the broth was rich and flavorful, it was a tad too salty for my taste. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

"We have dined at this restaurant multiple times, and each time we believe it can't possibly get any better than the last. We are always proven wrong. This hidden gem in Draper is truly the best restaurant in Utah. I celebrated my birthday here tonight. We were seated outside, which was a first for us, and from the moment we arrived until we left, everything was absolutely perfect. The outdoor setting was stunning, with beautiful ambience and vibes. The sunset over the mountains, the lights twinkling in the trees, and the overall decor outside were lovely. The food was beyond words. The ribeye had a special rub that was incredibly delicious, paired perfectly with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and chimichurri sauce. It was an unforgettable dining experience. My partner enjoyed the filet mignon with green beans as well. The seasonal drinks were exceptional. I indulged in two watermelon mojitos, while my partner savored the Borne of Fire Cabernet and the espresso martini. The drinks were expertly crafted. The bartender deserved high praise, especially for the watermelon mojitos, which I believe were the best drink I have ever had. The appetizers (salad and corn chowder) were delightful, and the desserts (chocolate mousse with mandarin oranges and creme brulee) were full of flavor. Our waiter was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. It was truly the most incredible meal we have ever had, and I am already looking forward to coming back. The watermelon drink paired perfectly with the ribeye, making for a quintessentially summery meal. What could be more perfect than steak and watermelon in the summer?"

"POSITIVES: Don 't let the name fool you, this place is chock full of options besides sushi. Whether it 's curry, rice, noodles, teriyaki chicken, a bento box, or a variety of ramen, this place offers lots of satisfying options. The appetizers are equallytempting : edamame, calamari, gyoza, takoyaki, etc. As far as sushi goes, this place nails it with a blend of great flavor andawesome presentation. I ordered the colorful Playboy roll (fried shrimp, salmon, tobiko--tiny fish eggs, and jalapeño andthe Phoenix roll (tempura shrimp, eel, avocado, salmon, jalapeño, green onion, sesame seeds, teriyaki sauce, and spicymayo. . This roll was unlike anything if ever been presented with at a sushi restaurant...trust me, it is very exciting andworth every penny. The Japanese decor and theme is very friendly and inviting. The waitress was extremely polite andknowledgeable. Also, the mochi ice cream is fabulous, and you can 't go wrong with it. NEGATIVES: the menu was covered ingrease from someone fingers... Not sure if the material just attracts grease really easily or something... Also, there was aBOGO 50% off for all sushi rolls... I only ordered 2 rolls myself (one was $15ish, the other would have been about $7 with theoffer , and I somehow still walked out paying $30, aside from tip. Still not terrible, but not what I had expected. PRICE:expect to pay $15-30 per person depending on how much food you get. VERDICT: it was a fun experience, and I 'm definitelycurious about some of the other sushi rolls (and curry! It 's love to come back, but given the price, I may have to wait untilmy work takes us out so it 's on their dime."
