"we should have gone when we saw that everyone else was occupied on the street outside, but the outside area of this restaurant was empty. of really bad service (not the appetizers we ask, brought my daughter linguini with red soße versus butter after much discount confirming how we wanted it, did not come back for 30 minutes to a time), empty water glasses, overdone lachs, hard baklava, one scallop in a full-sized evening of skallops and garnelen linguini that are not safe from outside."

We had a wonderful time at brunch. Our server was attentive and had great drinkfood recommendations! The patio space was nice and comfortable, as well. I would recommend checking out Sea Olive

The food was excellent but our server was pretty slow. Overall this was a great place and I don’t want to knock it too much because they’re probably struggling to get back to normal from the pandemic but it was kind of annoying View menu

Easter dinner with my son. I love Sea and Olive. We ate outside because it was unseasonably warm. The Branzino is so amazing!even after we filled up on the mussels and focaccia. It’s a great restaurant across the board and I eat there often. I would highly recommend it

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends. The food is not done well you can tell everything is made ahead and just reheated even if most restaurants do that, you shouldn’t be able to tell and the bread could chip your tooth. The drink menu looks tasty but they use subpar ingredients so it tastes like a drink you’d be ok with at a dive bar. One star only because we laughed our way through the whole dinner pointing out all of the reasons why we shouldn’t have stayed

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
