Shipley Do-nuts - Menu

Used to be a great, old owner retired, now it’s not worth the real estate it sits on. Always out of anything anybody actually consumes, but there’s an incoming Dunkin, so all will be corrected in time.

I think it would be helpful if you updated your holiday hours. Google indicates that you're open today, which is Thanksgiving. I drove all the way here, and there's no sign indicating your holiday schedule. Please consider improving this.

New Owner-DO NOT waste your time!!!! Absolute joke! Will be out of everything you want if you don’t come right after they open. 4 days in a row and I kept coming at least a half hour earlier everyday!!! We’re talking by 9 am and they close at noon. Great selection, quality of food is always consistent. Very quick to go in and out. Drive through is efficient and even faster when they send someone out with a tablet to place orders so all you do at the window is pay and pick up. Great service. Bathrooms have always been clean when I used them. If you go inside, you can see them making the donuts through a window. It's fun for kids and adults.

Since I was a kid, I came to Shipleys. Staff should definitely learn something or two about customer service! There was mold in a column I ordered yesterday. had a few remnants that were cooled and heated, and I called to tell them just to let them know that there is something with the Kolaches and a young man has the boldness to tell me I don't know what's in your fridge, but the shape is not of us. Don't apologize for how this could happen, thanks for letting us know.

I traveled from Niles, Michigan, to visit family and had the chance to stop by this morning. I've always enjoyed Kolachis in Texas, but the ones I had today were definitely the best I've ever tasted. As for the donuts—let's just say they were incredible! Shipley awakened my inner foodie this morning, and I’m already wishing I could eat here again before heading home. We stopped into Shipley's Do-nuts today. It was our first time probably our last. Duncan's are opening soon across the street.When we arrived around 1230 there was no other customers. One girl was cleaning the donut counter behind the front, a young looking guy was refilling the refrigerator with drinks, another person in the back and a young guy at the counter. No one acknowledged us, said hello, morning or anything. Although the guy at the counter was somewhat looking at us it wasn't clear he was ready to help us until we asked for help. He was wearing street clothes as were the other employees not very professional.

They often miss the opportunity to use the outside staff member with a tablet to promote the self-serve line, which could help streamline things. While it seems like they might have more business now, they aren't managing it well; I've waited 20-30 minutes inside. The cashier’s focus is mostly on donuts, while there should be someone dedicated to Kolaches and beverages, as well as handling everything else that's not direct from the register. There’s also far too much casual conversation with customers, which slows down service. I've heard that the new owner rarely shows up and has told the employees not to contact him or disturb him but just to manage the business. These are not good manage...

Visited on Friday Morning 08/19/2022. I placed my order at the drive thru at the window. The girl who took my order was too busy chatting with the two boys behind her. I was not greeted with a hello or how can i help you. Just a blank stare. I had to repeat myself multiple times. When she handed over the bag. I didn't get a thank you, or a have a great day. Nothing. She just closed the drivethru window in my face without a goodbye. I drove home and realized that my kid's donut holes were missing from the order. Donut holes are now priced at 2.25/dozen.
