"Ordered honey pineapple chicken when it was served had huge chunks of peppers skewered every third piece. I am highly allergic to them said nothing on the menu about peppers my first time there. Had to wait to get in wait to get seated group of 4 other 3 had their food served well before mine. Had to send it back as inedible has somewhere to be so I left with nothing more than a few sips of water. At an oriental place I was not excepting to need to check for peppers as I ordered at a Mexican restaurant I always start with what does not have peppers. Not thinking I needed to at an oriental eatery. Completely awful experience and I had extremely cold air blasting directly down on me in my seat. Put up my jacket hood still chilled! Doubt I will ever darken that door. If you try it be sure to check for allergens in every dish you might try because menu definitely did not give any clue! I do not recommend. Slow entry slow service miserably cold did inedible for me."

Waitress was awesome, kinda loud, sushi was above average but felt mass produced.

Another of our favorite spots. A little on the pricy side but we'll worth it. Drinks are generously poured (alcohol wise). Food is above average quality as well as plentiful. Am normally full before the main course is completely finished. View menu

The portions were huge on the table side. And the cook was great. We were from.out of town so it great experience for us. Took a while to get our steamed appetizer and you can tell they waited to start our table up to make sure to fill.in all the seats.

The hibachi chef was amazing, entertaining and funny! Came here for my son's birthday and they sang happy birthday and played drums, (twice) The food was top notch. We got wayyy more than we anticipated and it was worth every penny. 10/10 highly recommend this place.

The food is pretty good. We tried Grilled Chicken Ramen and Angus Beef rolls. Rolls are very interesting. Never tried rolls with meat. It's like if you want a steak and sushi at the same time. Taste good though. Ramen was lacking a bit of spice to my taste. Had to add up some wasabi to it. And there was a little piece of egg shell in it. But the atmosphere is rather noisy. I'd prefer something quieter Sunday evening. View menu

it seems to be the main business that Ichiban tables. sushi was terrible, who was reis, like eating a lump strength. we had one piece and left the rest. the sushi rolls that have lobster and crab had the fake krabbe and definitiw not lobster. it was not possible. so very disgusting! almost all people eat cooked there, so not sure about this quality, but definitiw not a place to spend money for sushi. we also tried yuki sushi and it was beyond fabulous.

Shogun is my favorite hibachi restaurant but be aware you will definitely have to wait at least a hour for a hibachi grill meal any day of the week. I’ve been going to this place for decades and they don’t use all of their grills like they use to likely due to Covid or lack of chefs, hence the longer wait times. Nevertheless the sushi is still amazing and hibachi food is still delicious, even the next day. Also I noticed during my last visit, they do not start the grill with a big fire anymore so that was a bit of surprise.

"Do not go if it is busy. We have gone before and it was not bad but there was no excuse for tonight. My wife wanted to eat here for our anniversary, celebrating 5 years. Honestly after what we were served I would have rather eaten at Wendy’s. I havedined at many steak houses across the country. The steak I was served tonight I would not have given to my dog. I ordered thesteak medium, reasonable for a steak house because they normally undercook they steaks a bit. It was charred but cold and fleshyin the middle. I took two small bites and couldn’t do it, the steak was rare, honestly more than rare in the center. Iinformed the waiter it wasn’t right and he told me it would be taken back and corrected. After 10 minutes I was brought whatyou see in the picture I posted, the same steak just burnt. Yes it was closer to medium but by this time the outside was notcharred but burned. I tried my best to suffer through it but the taste of the burnt outer portion left a god awful taste in mymouth for the next hour. It was clear to me that nothing was going to be done after displaying my disgust so I payed and weleft. They steak you see in the picture cost me almost $60 alone. I have never been to another restaurant where the bill wasmore than $180 for two people and have been more disappointed. Honestly in bowling green go to Rafferty’s and get bettersteaks for a quarter of the price."
