"The meats were all enjoyable, featuring a pleasant smoke flavor that was neither too strong nor bitter. The jalapeño cheddar sausage stood out as my favorite among the brisket, pork, sausage, and jalapeño cheddar options. The potato salad was flavorful and reminded me of the dishes that older family members would bring to reunions.
However, the junk beans didn't impress me. They had a dominant vinegar taste that I found unappealing. While there was a good amount of meat, the beans were sparse, which was unfortunate because the vinegar flavor was overwhelming.
I also deducted a star due to not receiving the burnt ends I requested with my brisket. If something isn't available, it shouldn't be listed as an ordering option. That was a bit disappointing.
In summary, Harmon's is a solid local BBQ spot that satisfies, even if it's not my top choice."
