"Such a cool place! Glad I found it and ended up visiting my 2 nights in the area. Feels so homey and cozy, like you are eating at a friends house. Food is incredibly tasty. Had the mushroom ravioli and next day the spinach ones. Both totally different and equally delicious. The wine tasting is definitely a sensory experience going through different options with Ori until he finds what you really like! Wish I had a place like this nearby! Loved it and cant wait until the next visit!"

The Meza Plate from Sunday's pop up brunch Israeli menu was outstanding and service as usual was congenial and attentive. Outside, excellent weather perfect!

The service is always exceptional! They treat everyone like an old friend. The food is outstanding! I have some food allergies that I don't have to worry about at La Bodega, which is such a treat for me. I always leave with a fully belly and a big smile!

We know nothing about wine but we had so much fun! Everything was delicious; we had the vegan menu and the seasoning was incredible! The service was excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy, there are not many tables so it feelsintimate. Loved it. View menu

As a lifelong vegetarian vegan it’s not common to find such well crafted and delicious food. Most often the veggie options are just a side note to the restaurant menu. The special care and attention to detail is outstanding. Clearly they care about their patrons. The vegetarian tiramisu tops as the best I’ve ever had!

This was our second visit to Sonoma Wine La Bodega, we really love the food and wines. Meekk is just wonderful, she comes out and chats when she can and has such a lovely personality. We love seeing Henrietta the hen upon arrival in the yard. The food is delicious, creative and different from other vegetarian/vegan restaurants so we appreciate the change. Would absolutely recommend and return to this delightful spot.

"This is a nice restaurant with a full service bar and a spacious, dog friendly outdoor seating option in addition to a comfortable indoor dining area. They had a nice selection of wines to choose from, with some priced under $50 a bottle, including the 2020 Bucher Pinot Noir, which we really enjoyed. My party wasn 't familiar with pate, so we went for that first and everyone enjoyed it very much. We had a few more apps (rosemary focaccia, caramelized Brussels sprouts, and a soup), our entrees, and then dessert (apple crisp and ice cream and chocolate dessert). There were no bad dishes here, and everything was seasoned perfectly. We were staying in Sebastopol seven adults plus two dogs and I can 't imagine that there was a better option for us to have a special meal together in the area. We enjoyed our time here, and it was nice to sit outside and have our dogs with us. There were a few flaws, mostly things coming out very late from the kitchen or bar, including our entrees, which took forever. But that 's understandable on Labor Day weekend (they were quite packed). We were lucky to have been seated at all. We weren 't in a hurry, and they proactively acknowledged the delays and treated us to an extra appetizer, which we all enjoyed very much. Our entrees were good. No one raved about them, but they were solid. When asked if I could substitute the side dish that came with one fish entree for the side dish that came with another fish entree that was priced the same, I was told that the substitution fee would be $15, so I passed. I don 't mind paying a side dish substitution fee, but that would have been a 50% up charge and made my fish fillet entree a $47 dish. The Gravenstein apple tart is sort of a signature dish. Gravenstein is in their name, and this area of the country is well known for their Gravenstein apples. So I was expecting to really enjoy that. But it seemed rather pedestrian to me in particular, the crisp topping. Still, that 's a small complaint. Despite the lackluster ending, the dinner was enjoyable. When I 'm in the area next, I 'd happily come again for the appetizers and drinks. Cocktails are $14 $17 each here, but they know what they 're doing, and the wine selection is good. I think I would enjoy that experience even if I don 't choose to stay for dinner. They have a number of menus lunch, dinner, brunch, and a separate bar menu and I might try the latter."
