"There's nothing quite like a New York deli sandwich! The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. This was my first visit, but I sincerely hope it won't be my last. When I asked the deli clerk for a ham and Swiss hero, he responded with a smile and truly delivered. Thank you! I’d give this place 10 stars. Easy to see right off of Vanderbilt motor Parkway servicing Hauppauge and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking. Moderately clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will most likely be going back.

Easy order off the menu. They asked 3 times if I want lettuce and tomatoes. I said no just like the sign said tuna salad and bacon, no lettuce and tomato. . Ended up with no bacon but they put lettuce and tomato. Not sure what was wrong in this place. Had to drive back.

Southwind Deli is undoubtedly the best in the area. The quality of the food and the customer service is always consistent and outstanding. If you look at the other reviews, aside from two isolated ones, you'll see that this deli consistently receives five-star ratings. That speaks volumes. View menu

I don’t normally leave a review..but I think it’s the right thing to do in this case. I will never again subject myself to that experience! I ordered a turkey sandwich..dry, with lettuce..not challenging to a 6 year old. I received a skimp, poorly trimmed, cartilage packed, nausea inducing lunch. Most of it ended up being spit out in the bag it came in.

I used to eat there every day when I worked at Huntington Station, until they relocated. Fortunately, my new job is just around the corner from their new location. I highly recommend the Station Deluxe—it's one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. It features grilled chicken fillets with roasted red peppers and mozzarella on a hero, topped with balsamic. It's a true masterpiece!
