"I would give Soy a 5 stars if the service was absolutely amazing. The food was amazing and the chef was great, I would say the best sushi I ever had in Utah. However, their service definitely needs some improvements. Our waitress was sweet and checked on our food and everything but after we finished our food she was rush to give us a check as if we need to leave asap. Mind you we were the only table in the restaurant at 5pm I don't see whats the rush when we haven't finish our half bottles of beer yet. I would recommend the owner or the manager to train your staff to be more friendly and accommodating to the customers. Otherwise, this restaurant is amazing, food is great and not to mention, their Japanese beverage section would blow your mind!"

best sushi in salt lake! it's our way to see if the company is in the city. we like to go early (5:30-6) and can always get a table.

Eating is great. the service sucks. we all have our sushi roles and asked for the noodles we ordered. the waiter didn't order her until we asked him. we finally got our nudes when we all eat. they were not very good anyway. the fried rice was the best I ever had. View menu

eating was neither bad nor great. the server sucked nuts, hardly spoke English and never gave me the white rice that my whun brought. friends fried rice was good. it was impossible to get a refill or explain "where is my tear. "For cc the 4% attack is not known. no tipp for bad service no rice and add the 4%.

Not only do they have what seems to be a full bar, soy's has a menu full of everything you could ever want. If you're bringing along a friend who isn't big on sushi they offer pad Thai, teriyaki, and a ribeye steak. All the drinks were great, especially the peace blossom sake. I don't see myself eating at any other sushi restaurant in the near future, soy's is the place to be.

Very nicely curated sushi's. Usually you don't get to try different flavors within sushi's but this restaurant had it. We ordered Futomaki Roll, Holladay Roll,Brooklyn Roll,Citrus Roll,Atomic Roll and Mochi Ice Cream . Citrus roll was amazing and the lemon gave a nice punch to it. Atomic roll was not as atomic as wanted-Not Indian spicy. However mochi ice cream was the highlight of the meal. View menu

LEGIT! Best sushi we've had in a long while. And definitely the best we've had in UT (neck and neck with Sapa). Get the Mars Roll and the salmon roll with lemon on top. Be sure to ask for the sauces on the side, so you can choose how much you get. Tempura udon was very good. Our chef was from Hawaii super friendly and repped the Hawaii sushi culture well tight rolls, clean cuts, and good vibes.

unbelievably overpriced and a very underwhelming experience. I have put an online order for the collection and was super disappointed at what I brought home. not only were the special instructions from their website (I asked for additional ingwer) not followed, but the parts they say were normal (I called double check) would not even feed a person. for $6, they can get a bit of alga salate. or two bites of mistsuppe. or a gurkensalate without sauce will not come back.

"The idea of a Thai fusion brunch spot isn't something you come across every day, so Uncle Jeffi's piqued my interest immediately while searching for a new weekend brunch location. Being owned by the same team behind several successful Thai restaurants in the area made it a must-try! I appreciate their inclusion of traditional Thai dishes, especially with drinks — the Thai Iced Tea I ordered was delicious. The regular menu boasts a wide range from classic American breakfast options to more authentic Thai breakfast dishes. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a chalkboard wall displaying a nice selection of daily specials. We decided to try a few dishes: **Mango Whipped Pancake:** This was one of the specials that day, and as a mango lover, I was eager to order it. It was absolutely delightful, featuring a syrup that had a jelly-like consistency—sweet but not overwhelming. Pairing it with the pancake, whipped cream, and fresh fruit was nothing short of magical! It tasted incredibly fresh, and I really hope it becomes a permanent menu item. **Kow Munn Gai Tord:** This dish, a twist on the traditional Khao Mun Gai Tod, consists of Thai Fried Chicken served with garlic rice. There's also a tofu option available. I thought a scrambled egg would perfectly complement this dish, and it truly did enhance the experience. The combination of the protein, rice, and egg provided a wonderful comfort food sensation, bursting with fantastic flavors! It comes with sweet chili sauce, which I love, but I also added their house hot sauce for an extra kick. It had a similar flavor profile to the sweet chili but with a bit more intensity. **The Stack:** My husband loves breakfast items that come in a big pile, and this dish didn't disappoint. It was a standard American breakfast featuring hashbrowns, eggs, cheese, meat, and topped with additional eggs. He thoroughly enjoyed every bite, along with the side of toast. It's also worth noting that the menu includes numerous vegan and vegetarian options, which I appreciate as a former pescetarian. It's great to see local restaurants thrive, and I truly hope Uncle Jeffi's continues to succeed with their unique offerings. I believe more people should experience what they have to offer!
