"Neighborhood bar for sure. Felt like a total outsider in the midst of everyone there that knew everyone else. Wouldn't have minded in the least but while we waited to be seated as requested, all 3 staff and the assumed drunken owner at the bar looked us right in the eye but never said a word to us to welcome us or make us feel comfortable or noticed while we waited...we almost walked out.Ended up having Mary Jo as our waitress who's personality turned things around a bit, but they were so busy and so short-staffed she forgot us often, not really her fault in my opinion. Food was less than par, fish fry was dry and had little seasoning. On a good note the homemade ranch was excellent and the seasoned fries were very good. But even my simple cranberry vodka was pretty mediocre.I'd say this is definitely a fun place to go for a drink at the bar possibly, but as far as food and service, not really a place I'd go back to."

We have been to Spanky's Hideaway multiple times every time has been a great experience. The food drinks taste great, the portions are good sized, all at a fair price. It's just a nice simple bar with great tasting food. I definitely recommend checking them out.
