"something steak and shakes today unfortunately lacks warm and good customer service, as the kiosks have taken over, and often the staff cries to customers when their orders are ready. today our visit was different: we received both excellent fresh, hot and crispy hamburger with tweebel rings, and wonderful customer service with kind permission from woman angie who welcomed us with a big smile, brought our food to the table and was able to stay in the position to chat and laugh for a while with us we enjoyed our food and even more the cheerful, excellent service!"

We received 3 drinks, missing 1 and there wasnt any Honey Mustard for the Chicken Strips. The food was thrown in the bag!! But our Dasher was AMAZING!! View menu

Customer service is fully unmanned these days, but the food was fine. I'd give 3.5 stars because the place needs a thorough deep cleaning, but gave the benefit of the doubt.

Dining room is still open, and it was fast again. No serving staff like before, which is a bit of a shame, it was just fast food. But it was still great. Had a big burger and a shake and it was out very quickly. Going uphill from a few years ago, came here in 2018 and it took like 2 hours. I miss the waitstaff, but this is better.

It's one of the few remaining steak n shakes still open. And they have a friendly staff and their menu and great taste w original menu are as goof as ever. Its a great place w great tasting food that you'd expect frm a steak n shake. And be sure to get on the most delicious shakes made here. I love their fries and their shakes the best View menu

Service was really great and so helpful with the ordering at kiosk. They even carried extra drinks and food to table. Place was clean but the tile floor was sticky. Every person squelched as they walked. My burger was somewhat uncooked completely. I didn't finish it. But my banana shake was amazing!! I would still go back. My family really enjoyed their meal and the variety they offer is fun and different.

We were unaware of having to place order at kiosk.Hated it even though waitress helped with ordering. Hard to manage a baby and two other children under seven while ordering.it was not a relaxing time and nerve wracking trying to watch children seated at table waiting for me to order. The steak and shake in Poplar Bluff has real servers and had no idea St Charles does not. We will not go back until there is real table service. We could have gone to McDonald's for this quality of service.
