Steak 'n Shake - Menu

Gave me the shits, something ain't right with the food. It used to be good but sadly no more. Definitely would not recommend

Waited over 30 minutes for 2 shakes, had sticky yellow stuff all over our cups, and they have new paper straws that literally taste like an old popsicle stick. Everytime that I 've been here it 's been closed, we aren 't taking orders, or just takes forever to get food, shakes, etc.

My wife and I went last night got there about 5:15 seated us right away waitress came right out got us our drinks took our order the place was half full of people and no time at all we had our meal didn't get started eating good and the waitress was out and checked on us again meal was good and waitress checked on us again was a good experience View menu

there is no service anymore. obviously they don't even try to let them know when their food is done when they order for din-in. the order had several mistakes: only one sandwich had to beat, they were on the other sandwich, milkshake had nothing at all and hardly any chocolate taste. the worst part? all the tables were dirty. we cleaned ourselves best. I used the bathroom, and the smell was so bad that I turned around. I love sns.

experience in the theory I had it ever. order with the app, an hour before. I walked in and was ignored by every employee. had to scream to get someone's attention after trying for 20 minutes. it was said rudely that "use the kiosk". I came 15 minutes after my order was to do and they didn't even begin. simple milkshakes, given me warm with zero taste. tested like a cold water, with disgusting tassen. the customer service is long gone.

Just come here if you deserve to be punished. would not take my order thru laufwerk thru, had to come in. placed order and the guy responsible for burger and pommes stopped what he did to go to the bathroom with his friends (they waited for him at the kiosks)? at least they went to the bathroom for about 8 minutes (single). then he can return (friends left) to finish my order. all I had was a French medium. Definitely not as good as it used to be, which is a shame. I have good memories of going here with my grandparents as a kid. Don’t get in line at the drivethru if your gas tank is anywhere near E, you’ll risk running out before you get your food. Check your bag before you leave because you’ll probably get the wrong order. I also had a hard time just getting them to answer when you pull up, and I know it’s not just me cause I’ve been sitting here in the parking lot eating and listening to people honk and yell at the speaker. Food isn’t that great anymore, burger was really salty and tasted kinda weird. Fries haven’t changed much at least. I give them a two star just because I know it could be...

I like steak 'n shake but I don 't know what happened. This was the worst experience I have had from start to finish. Walking into dirty tables and floors. We chalked it up to being understaffed so we cleaned off a table and proceeded to wait 45 minutes before I went up to ask if they forgot about us. The staff saw me and didn 't want to ask what I needed because they knew and probably didn 't want to have to deal with the headache from an angry customer. I stood up there for a couple minutes when they brought me the food and never asked me if I needed anything. Used the drive through on my lunch break, took nearly half an hour just to get through the drive through. When they began to take my order, they asked what I wanted, I answered, number five with a large fry and large coke. They confirmed a number 5. Then went silent for 30ish seconds. Then came back “you said a #7?” I replied no. Then asked if I wanted a diet something. So I corrected them on my order. Got to the window and was charged the correct amount. I was given a regular coke though.
