"For quite some time I've been meaning to go to Stonewood Tavern, it's only a few minutes away from my home and I've seen good reviews and it just sounded really good. I took the initiative offered a date night with my husband; we ended up going to the Stonewood tavern. We were immediately sat, we were asked if we had reservations, and we didn't but no issue because there was no wait. This was a Thursday at dinner time, so you can picture it . I don't know why I thought there was a patio with a waterfront seating but there wasn't. They did have a patio but it wasn't opened, nor offered. We were sat in a booth by the window greeted promptly by our waitress, very nice waitress we had! She brought us some water to start complimentary bread. I asked her a question about the menu and she did not even hesitate to help me out, (brownie points!! I appreciated that a lot. She even welcomed us since it was our first time dining there. For appetizers we ordered the Spanikopita. I love spinach, I love Greek food so there's a high standard when it comes to Spanikopita. To drink I ended up drinking a seltzer with lemon lime and my husband went along with a beer flight you can choose 4 beers on draft for $10. For our dinner selections I picked the Stifado my husband picked the skirt steak dinner. Now mind you the prices at the Stonewood tavern are a bit pricey. I was looking at their dessert menu. It was the generic dessert list: cheesecake chocolate cake, carrot cake, apple crisp, nothing spectacular. We received our appetizer the Spanikopita... when we looked at it it was 5 pieces of very small Spanikopita. They looked like little bite, basically for $11 I thought that was a little pricey for just spinach, feta and filo. At this point now we were looking at each other thinking "

I've only been there twice, but both times the food was fantastic. The seafood risotto was particularly impressive. I plan to make Stonewood Tavern a regular spot for me. I highly recommend it!

Cool bar and restaurant. Great selection of food and beer and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Had a burger which wasn’t made how I ordered it but I went with it and it tasted excellent. Curious to come try the pizza next but overall it was a great experience.

Went here for a corporate dinner. Service was great for our group. The food was good but I wish I had gotten the penne a la vodka than the flank steak. The flank steak wasn't what I thought but im from out of town. I loved the roasted beets appetizer, but others didn't in my group. (I'm a big beet lover). View menu

Menu looks like a trendy beer pub. Rustic building, well lighted, spacious, everything going for it except the food. Definitely not as good as a diner. I cook better at home. When I go out, I want flavor, or a complexity that wonders me, and I'm willing to pay for well prepared food. Sorry, but umami is not at the table here. Pretty bland. Even the fries.

Stonewood Tavern catered our wedding, and we could not have been more pleased. Andy was there to be sure everything was set up properly, the servers were courteous and friendly, and the food well, it was as though Stonewood had moved their kitchen to our wedding reception venue. We would not hesitate at all in highly recommending Stonewood Tavern for your next catered event. You will not be disappointed.

The waitress at StoneWood greeted us with a big smile and a wonderfully positive attitude. The seating area was spotless, and we were promptly served a basket of bread along with two glasses of high-quality water. This made me confident that the food would be excellent—and it truly was! The prices were reasonable, with generous portions. The alcoholic drinks were flavorful and quite effective! I highly recommend trying them. They even have a genuine brick oven for their pizzas, and the sauces they use are of exceptional quality and very tasty. Overall, the food was all top-notch, and I would definitely return. A very rare 5 star on all points. We arrived before the dinner crowd. The parking lot had ample spaces. The inside was clean. Each staff we came in contact with was nice, and our server was attentive without being in the way. No rush at all. Not to mention, the food was delicious even though my wife and I agree the ribs could've been a bit better tasting. I highly recommend this place. We went a second time in June 2023. We agree with 5 stars again. We ate different meals from the first time, and our compliments to the cook. We were actually surprised my burger was nice and hot, and everything else was very tasty. Yummy all the way.

The evening began with some fresh focaccia bread, infused with Italian herbs, and perfectly moist from just the right amount of olive oil. We shared a classic pizza, which turned out to be one of the best I've had in a long time. It was wonderfully seasoned, featuring a tangy semi-sweet tomato sauce cooked to perfection, topped with just the right amount of cheese, all on a flavorful crust. My wife ordered the short rib grilled cheese, and I had a bacon cheeseburger, which we shared. Both dishes came with French fries. The short rib grilled cheese was incredibly juicy, tender, and flavorful, served on thick, toasty yet soft bread—I'm still salivating just thinking about it! The cheeseburger...
