"excellent customer service. on the other night my man and I had dinner in a favorite restaurant of us, firebirds. my man ordered a new yorker strip and unfortunately it was a very hard, chewing steak. he has not complained about his meal until the manager mike warner appeared at our table to ask how our meal was. at this time my man shared his dissatisfaction with his steak. mike apologised and offered him another steak, which was refused because he had already eaten half of it. mike asked him several times if he could replace the meal. after mike had left the table, mike came back to us and we could say that mike wanted to correct the error and then offered him dessert, which we refused. at this place said mike that the only possibility to correct this situation was to take the meal out of our bill. of course we were very satisfied with this decision and then we shared with mike that we appreciate this, as we often visited this restaurant. we will continue to dine at firebirds and appreciate the excellent customer service that mike warner has shown this evening."

"Very expensive I received a very under cooked filet that was sent back then it was charred/overcooked so if I'm being honest I have had better steak for that price. I watched my spouse eat their entire dinner while I waited it was our 30th anniversary dinner. They offered us 2 free desserts to make up for the steak issue. ... I'm sure had the steak issue not occurred my review would have been different. Hopefully it was a one time fluke but for that price/experience I most likely will not visit again. Ambience was fine. Waiter/service was good and attentive."

"I went to this restaurant tonight to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband. I want to start by mentioning that the service was excellent—staff were very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was a different story. I ordered the ribeye steak, and my husband chose the NY strip steak, both cooked medium. However, they arrived swimming in butter and oil. We even asked for a second plate, hoping to drain some of the excess, but it only soaked through to the new plate as well. The meat made both of us feel unwell at the table. We also tried the Brussels sprouts and grilled asparagus, both of which were overly oily. The presentation of the food was quite sloppy; the steaks looked as if they were just tossed onto the plate and were actually well-done instead of medium. I cannot recommend dining at this restaurant."

"I ordered this through DoorDash, and the restaurant was quick, accurate, and generous with my food. The sandwich is delicious—it was nearly gone within two minutes of me receiving it! They offer gluten-free bread and cheese-free options for those who are lactose intolerant. The roast beef is perfectly seasoned, not too salty, and has a fantastic flavor. I also got an agua fresca to drink, and it's delicious with low sugar!"

"Among Mexican restaurants Pepe’s stands above the competition. Everything here is familiar, chips with salsa, standard Tex-mex fare, some local specials. By that measure they are like everyone else. What sets them apart is the quality of the food and the excellent service. The chips are always fresh, and the specials are excellent, especially The Chesterfield and Burrito Del Mar. This is comfort food served in a comfortable setting, but don’t come here looking for much in way of ambiance. Come for the food and leave happy."
