"Party of went for my niece’s birthday. of us had been to Ruth Chris before. had not. The that had not were not impressed. The that had been before were disappointed. Things started off fine, but the longer we were there the more our servers stopped coming to the table. It got busy and loud. When I went in the past it was a quiet atmosphere, someone was playing the piano. My steak was not flavorful at all. My meal came with dessert we had to ask the servers for that. In the past our leftovers were boxed up for us. We were brought out boxes to do it ourselves (which is fine but it was a perk that we enjoyed given the high prices). I saw a slice of dessert taken out to a table across from us with a candle on it. That reminded me of when my husband I were there for our anniversary a complimentary slice of dessert came out for us. When I asked the server if something would be coming out for my niece she told me y’all don’t do that anymore. It just reminded us of all the other restaurants people don’t go to Ruth Chris pay these prices to have the same experience as all other restaurants"

I ordered the Rib eye Pittsburg medium and got MR. On top of that it was tough. Did not cut like prime. More like choice My son got the combo of filet and shrimp and loved it but said the ribeye had more flavor

Ruth's Chris is one of the three most outstanding restaurant experiences in the RVA area. We go there every August for a birthday celebration and never regret the visit. To be sure, it's expensive and not for the faint of heart when the check comes. But we enjoy pampering ourselves on this special occasion. I highly recommend everyone give it a try
