Taco Madre - Menu

The food was average. I would only return if I was really hungry and had no other options. There are plenty of better taco places nearby. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either.

Good, but has quickly become the most expensive option for Mexican food. Chips and Guac are 11$. A single small Steak Taco is 4$. Not great when you consider Chipotle a more affordable option..

I've consistently enjoyed fresh and delicious food here. I'm a bit uncertain about the rewards program and what benefits I might receive from it, but I'm hopeful for something, especially as prices continue to rise. View menu

I love the presentation. The service is very good. Although, not a lot of poeple there when I go. The food is top notch. The salsa you get with the chips are warm with great flavor. They have 4 additional salsas. I prefer the hot one which isn't really very hot. Just got. I get something different each time.

We grabbed lunch here today and it was delicious. We have had there food before from there food truck but this was our first time at the restaurant and it didn’t disappoint at all. I have to say they have the best chicken taco I have ever had in my life. Every thing is super fresh and cooked perfectly. Thank you so much for an amazing meal.

This is probably the best tex-mex restaurant I have ever been to. The food is EXTREMELY good! Everything is VERY fresh and flavorful. Very well seasoned. Not loaded with too much cheese like other places. The Guac salsa is awesome too. Had the Mayan burrito, and it was so good, decided to get the Korean BBQ burrito and a side of Elote. Hands down the best tacos I've ever had (and I've eaten A LOT of tacos). We came here for lunch today and ordered two regular menu tacos each to begin with. They were so fantastic we had to try some of the specialty tacos (even though we were both full). These tacos changed my life! We had the Mayan, the Chicken Tinga and the Aztec. It's impossible to pick a favorite. If Taco Madre opens a location in Genoa, I will eat there everyday and insist everyone I know does the same!

Enjoyed the salsa bar the most. Jalapeno salsa was excellent and the salsa madre was legit. Burritos were a little small and the insides were cold. Chips and salsa comes with a blended chipotle hot salsa that was just ok. Interesting spin on Mexican food with chunks of fruit in the pastor. Queso was pretty watery. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. I can see what people like about them, maybe we caught them on an off night, will definitely want to try again and report back.

If you are considering where to eat today, stop right now and go to Taco Madre. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. It takes a lot to impress me dining out, but this gem of a restaurant is now my #1 for the best tacos of all time. We started ordering regular steak and pastor tacos that were excellent. Even though we were full, we went back up ordered three of their specialty tacos (Tinga, Aztec and Mayan . I don't even have the words for how great and flavorful these were. I love salsa on my tacos, but it would have been a sin to add anything to these beauties! I will never be able to visit St Charles again without visiting Taco Madre!
