"I came across this restaurant while walking back to my car. The interior had a charming vibe, but I opted for outdoor seating, so I can't comment on the interior space. The host seated me quickly and handed me a menu. The staff was very friendly. I decided to have lunch there, but I found the service to be a bit slow, which might not be ideal if you're in a rush. I ordered enchiladas with the option to mix and match fillings. I chose a spinach and mushroom filling along with a chicken filling, which came with rice and beans. The spinach was fresh and tasty, wrapped in a tortilla, but there were only a few canned mushrooms included. The shredded chicken was flavorful and moist. However, the thick cheese on top of the enchiladas left me puzzled; I couldn't tell if it was mozzarella as it wasn't specified on the menu, and unfortunately, it made the tortillas soggy. The green salsa was flavorful, but there wasn't enough of it. I appreciated that they used corn tortillas, and the dish was served piping hot. The rice was a bit dry and crispy, but surprisingly tasty, even though I'm not usually a fan of rice. The beans were good, although I'm not sure if they were homemade. The portion size was just right for lunch, but I would still feel hungry if I had it for dinner. The prices were reasonable."

The flautas were excellent, and there was just the right amount for two people! Don’t forget to add pico!

The food was delicious, the service was fast, and the decor was enjoyable. I really appreciated the indoor seating after a chilly day outside.

I frequently dine here because I work nearby. I have to say that the service is always excellent, and the restaurant is consistently kept clean. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.

The cocktails were very good, and the service was excellent. It offered great value for the location. The chicken in the enchiladas was a bit dry and could have used a bit more spice, but it was still tasty. The guacamole, on the other hand, was outstanding! View menu

If you're looking to experience the warm atmosphere of home and enjoy authentic old-school Mexican cuisine, this is the place to go. The husband and wife who run the restaurant are genuinely caring and make it their mission to ensure you feel like the only customer, treating you like family.

Just south of the World Trade Center, we were in search of a late lunch and this restaurant seemed like the best option near our hotel. The outdoor seating featured a variety of Mexican dishes. The staff was efficient, and the food was what you would typically expect. The place was quite busy, but the napkins provided were adequate, and our party of five had no complaints despite ordering several entrees and snacks. The Happy Hour drink discounts were minimal.

I recently tried a Mexican restaurant in the Financial District near the World Trade Center, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The standout for me was their Jalapeno Margarita served in a pitcher, which was quite good in both taste and portion size, although I found it to be less spicy than expected. The taco shell salads are enormous, so be ready for a hearty meal! I did deduct a star because the fajitas were a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s a place I’d consider returning to explore more items on the menu. View menu

The menu offered quesadillas with just a handful of ingredients, which I appreciated, as I tend to prefer simpler dishes. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, and it was both delicious and satisfying. I also tried a passion fruit margarita with a Tajin rim, which my friend recommended, and it complemented the dish perfectly. The prices were reasonable for the area, with my quesadilla costing around $13. Given the touristy neighborhood nearby, Tajin could easily charge more, but they keep their prices affordable. Overall, it was a convenient, budget-friendly, and tasty dining experience, and we will definitely be back.

I can't believe I've overlooked this restaurant for so long! I've walked by it countless times without ever stepping inside. But as Bob Ross would say, there are no mistakes, just happy accidents. In this instance, my original plans in the area fell through, which led me to discover this delightful gem that I can't wait to share with you all! I stopped by for breakfast over the weekend and tried the huevos con chorizo, served with refried black beans and tortillas. The margaritas were also amazing, complete with a tajin rim. Overall, I'm looking forward to returning for lunch or dinner because the experience was truly fantastic.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
