"I love the Jerk Chicken Rice and Peas and Macaroni at Tastee Spoon. The chicken is tender and spicy, the rice is fluffy and flavorful, and the macaroni is nice and cheesy. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. My only complaint is that the recipe seems to vary from time to time, so I never know what to expect, sometimes the macaroni is too dry. I wish they would stick to one consistent recipe, because when they get it right, it’s delicious. Nonetheless, I always enjoy my meal at Tastee Spoon and I recommend it to anyone who likes Caribbean cuisine."

This was a nice spot . I loved the atmosphere. My jerk chicken wings was ok but beware that this is not grilled jerk chicken . It was baked jerk chicken wings with little spice but still good.

The j chicken wings and macaroni cheese where recommended by the cashier. The wings were okay, the j sauce on the side was amazing! The Mac n’ cheese was okay and the cabbage was well seasoned. My kids enjoyed food, but I don’t think the plate was worth $16.00. View menu

It's my favorite Jamaican restaurant and highly recommend it to everyone that hasn't been. They have great food, desserts and a bar as well with LIVE music on Fridays! I usually get the lamb chops jerked, medium well done with the jerk sauce, Mac Cheese with the rice and peas

We ordered as a group for my office and I played it safe with 2 Jamaican beef patties and cocoa bread. It was decent, but I ordered a slice of coconut cake. This was the driest cake I've even had no flavor and it crumbled just by looking at it and this was a SMALL $6.50 slice of cake.

The environment here is very laid back. The staff treats you like family. No mean Jamaican attitudes or them replying Me Nuh have dat . Everything that 's on the menu they serve. Also the first time visiting the bar I dropped my card and I called back the next day to see if it was there. And it was there safe and sound! View menu

The food and ambiance at this restaurant are outstanding! They have live music on Fridays and Saturdays, so I’m definitely planning to return for that as well. This is a must-visit restaurant, and I never thought anyone could surpass my previous favorite spot in Decatur. They’ve totally exceeded my expectations here! Bravo!

First let me say I really never write reviews, but this one was worth it! All I can say is WOW! The food was so delicious! I’m from Chicago and this was the best Lamb Chops, they were so tender and yummy! Everything was perfectly seasoned! Mac N cheese, cabbage, corn bread, and plantains all were soooo delicious! Definitely better food than a lot Chicago restaurants! Also prices are good!
