The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent! We have been there three times and have never been disappointed.

The restaurant has closed its doors. In its place, there is now a food hall serving a variety of different cuisines. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself has permanently closed.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are the best I've ever had in the Bay Area, and I've been living here for 25 years. The portions are huge as well. The chocolate trifle was absolutely delicious. You will not be disappointed!

We ordered both pies, the risotto with cod , fish and chips, chips with curry, Yorkshire pudding, and the trifle and it was all amazing! The prices are also very fair considering the portion sizes. I suggest sharing and trying a lil of everything like we did. :

The first time I ate there the food was great, enjoyed every bit of it. The second time I ordered on grub hub for pickup and after waiting over 20 minutes I was told the restaurant never opened for the day. However grub hub was accepting was orders and providing an ETA of when the food would be ready. My review isn't related to the food it's about the service or lack there of. It really looks like their friends wrote some of the 5 star reviews. They don't seem genuine, especially after ordering two dinners from here, and my wife and I both feel like we were scammed. The food tastes okay, but it is overpriced. What's the justification for the pricing? There's no storefront to keep up, the portions are tiny, there's no way rent costs much, and the only staff visible is some guy handing takeout orders to whoever ordered from one of maybe ten restaurants this commercial kitchen cooks for. If you want to spend $30 on a meal and feel like you got scammed, this is the place for you! Not only was the food mediocre at best, but the portions left you feeling as if you were robbed. Their pictures and the way they depict their own food is not AT ALL like how they serve it. Want the J chicken? Be prepared to get one piece of chicken, a few over salted plantains, and rice beans that will put an image of prison food into your brain. Poking around food apps and saw Bussdown. The value is there. The chicken side $15, looked like a full meal. I think the brine is 24 hours? Really moist, well seasoned batter and the most delicate crisp. The mac, you can tell the cheese is high quality and complex. Star was the 13 hour oxtails. Look at the beautiful color on the plate! Everything worked harmoniously pickled veg, spritz of fresh lime, cilantro, shredded cabbage, caramelized plantains, wedges of pineapple and watermelon. The oxtails meaty and gelatinous.
