"We were unsure if we visited the restaurant on an off night. Upon arrival, we were informed that our reservation was for outdoor seating, although we had requested indoor seating. It took 15 minutes for a server to come to our table and another 30 minutes to be served water. The cornbread lacked flavor and the bread on top of the French onion soup was burnt. I was the only one satisfied with my Caesar salad with salmon. The scallop dish consisted of only 3 scallops and half of a Brussels sprout. Despite positive reviews, the food did not meet our expectations. The outdoor patio was the only redeeming quality, earning the restaurant 1 star. We unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant."

Fantastic food. Had the best steak I’ve had since moving to the area. We sat on the porch which wasn’t the best atmosphere but all eyes were on the food anyways.

Good food. Good service. Nice ambient. We had a good time the salmon was really good, but small portion but very well presented. I enjoyed the combination with lentils

Stopped twice on my recent trip to Maine with my mom! Dan the bartender was awesome! Drinks were great. We didn't eat but all the food looked and smelled great. The outdoor fire area was also great! Will return!

Great cosy atmosphere in quiet season. Everything was delicious and service was attentive. Perfect spot for dinner on a cold December day.For people who like mocktails, there have three great ones on the menu (one with seedlip).

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for dining during the off season. The bar is lively and the menu is small but delicious. The Burger and French Onion Soup were both fantastic. However, the real standout dish was the Nachos. Vegetarians will love the Truffle Nachos, they were a hit! View menu

Suberb from start to finish. Perfect table and setting for a dinner with dear friends. The menu was beautifully curated and each dish experienced was fresh with an incredible depth of flavor. We passed our main dishes around the table and expectations were consistently exceeded all night, right through the gelato and decaf coffee. Thank you, Jake and team. We can't wait to come back!

We popped in here for lunch on a 74 degree day in November, needless to say the town was packed. Dan was our server/bartender and he was wonderful! The short rib and cheese sandwiches are delicious and plentiful. We opted for a tossed salad with them instead of fries. I have to admit that Dan makes a really good red sangria and a mean martini. Because the weather was so incredibly beautiful the restaurant was quite busy. We only saw three other servers and they were all working their butts off. We will definitely eat here again!

"My dad ordered the penne pasta with added lobster, but it was overwhelmingly garlicky — all he could taste was garlic. He found the aftertaste to be unpleasant and immediately reached for gum to try to mask the awful flavor it left behind. My mother felt that the Portuguese seafood melody lacked flavor this time; it usually has a nice spiciness and a rich broth, but this time it was bland and almost watery. At least the seafood was cooked perfectly, so that’s a positive. My pasta was decent, but it felt oilier than usual, which was odd, though the flavor was still good. My brother couldn’t order his usual dish because the bar menu is now only available outside or at the bar. Previously, there was never a problem ordering from that menu in the dining area. It seems they’ve changed the rules, which is disappointing. On a positive note, the atmosphere is still nice; the tables are well spaced, and the noise level is comfortable. They dim the lights later in the evening, and each table has a lit candle, creating a pleasant ambiance. The restaurant is also very clean and well maintained. Our waitress was polite but felt a bit distant; she didn’t check on us throughout the meal, which would have given us a chance to express our concerns. Finally, I recommend making a reservation! We've been turned away in the past for not having one, and I'm not sure if their policy has changed or if they still require reservations only. It's better to be safe, so I’d suggest booking in advance if you plan to eat here. Overall, I'm not in a rush to return, but who knows, maybe in the future we might give it another try."
