"My dad ordered the penne pasta with added lobster, but it was overwhelmingly garlicky — all he could taste was garlic. He found the aftertaste to be unpleasant and immediately reached for gum to try to mask the awful flavor it left behind. My mother felt that the Portuguese seafood melody lacked flavor this time; it usually has a nice spiciness and a rich broth, but this time it was bland and almost watery. At least the seafood was cooked perfectly, so that’s a positive. My pasta was decent, but it felt oilier than usual, which was odd, though the flavor was still good. My brother couldn’t order his usual dish because the bar menu is now only available outside or at the bar. Previously, there was never a problem ordering from that menu in the dining area. It seems they’ve changed the rules, which is disappointing. On a positive note, the atmosphere is still nice; the tables are well spaced, and the noise level is comfortable. They dim the lights later in the evening, and each table has a lit candle, creating a pleasant ambiance. The restaurant is also very clean and well maintained. Our waitress was polite but felt a bit distant; she didn’t check on us throughout the meal, which would have given us a chance to express our concerns. Finally, I recommend making a reservation! We've been turned away in the past for not having one, and I'm not sure if their policy has changed or if they still require reservations only. It's better to be safe, so I’d suggest booking in advance if you plan to eat here. Overall, I'm not in a rush to return, but who knows, maybe in the future we might give it another try."

We had a wonderful dinner here! Everything was delicious! We had a lobster crostini with corn puree which was devine (and I don't like lobster), the chowder was so yummy and everyone's meals were yummy!

We enjoyed a delicious, light dinner of mussels and a beet salad. The mussels, with Gorgonzola and bacon, were absolutely the best that we have ever had! Please go eat the mussels! I want the recipe. You will leave with a smile on your face!

We’ve been coming to That Place for years! Amazing food, ambiance, and service. The only thing that we don’t love are the cocktails. We’ve tried them every year with the hope that they are improved, however we are disappointed each time. Giving 5 stars since we love coming here and will continue to do so. We were seated right away on a Sunday evening. My husband got the chowder for his app. He said it was good, but more bacon forward flavor than clam. Bread was lovely, fresh and warm with a honey compound butter. I got the pork chop for my entree and it was amazing!! The apple, cinnamon, onion and bacon topping. Mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were wonderful sides. Very tender, and cooked perfectly! Husband got the baked stuffed haddock. He loved it. Wonderful, buttery crumb topping, accompanied by mashed potatoes and perfectly al dente green beans. No dessert as we were too full from dinner. We may have to go back for just dessert another night because they looked delicious!

We started our meal with a generously sized Caesar salad, which was quite tasty. For the main courses, we tried the caramelized salmon, which was beautifully presented and accompanied by a delicious sauce.
