"The owner MUST be paying for these GREAT reviews. My husband and I were doing a wonderful 2 week travel through the picturesque foliage of New England and enjoyed various fares from great restaurants throughout our travels, focusing on seafood menus. While in Williston we decided to try this Fish and Chip restaurant. My first clue should have been when I saw the owner (Asian lady) slapped what appeared to either be a roach or spider running across the counter. At the time, I wondered which of the two insects it was and what the kitchen really looked like, as a previous restaurant owner. But I was reminded of the great reviews I’d previously read. We ordered cod and chip with salad. The salad was fresh and delicious. The over-battered cod was the WORST fish I’ve ever tasted period. It was TOUGH and chewy. The consistency was that of a piece of steak rubbery. I really didn’t know fish could be so leathery in texture. Knowing that cod is flaky in texture, I had to wonder where these people purchased this fish. It reminded me of the salted cod fish one can purchase at ethnic stores, only this cod was not cured with salt. We were disappointed with what we’d hope to be a great fish dinner and truly hope this was just two bad fish dinners for this restaurant.Concerned tourist."

I hadn't been to a good fish and chips restaurant in a while. I saw this place and heard about it from others to come and eat there. I must say it was by far the best fish and chips since being in British Columbia, Canada.

I've only had the Haddock but the Sunday special and crispiness of the fish is fantastic. Large fries and the sides they offer are perfect for fans of fish&chips. Small location, could do with a polish and clean up, but the food while simple is stellar.

Great little restaurant with classic fish and chips. The menu has multiple types of fish such as Halibut, Cod and Haddock. In addition, there is calamari, shrimp and other menu options. The place is definitely not appealing when walking in…very sparse and appears dirty…tacky decorations….they have a small bar in the corner which isn’t used…my feet stuck to the floor when I walked across the room…yuck! This place is a pleasant surprise! It’s hard to see it from the road as it is located inside a small strip mall. Looks are deceiving as it does not look inviting from the outside. But, it has the best food — best calamari, best fish and chips and even the best salmon! They were all cooked to perfection and budget friendly too! If you’re in the Burlington, VT area this is a must!

Claire went above and beyond tonight. Grubhub screwed up my order and delivered me food from a different restaurant, Claire called me when she noticed my order was still there but showed as delivered by Grubhub. Long story short after extremely horrible customer service from Grubhub which required me replacing my order. Claire not only cooked me a whole new meal she added a free dessert. I will definitely order from here again just not by using Grubhub.
