"This restaurant and bar is truly exceptional, and in my opinion, one of the best within hundreds of miles. The chef has crafted an impressive menu filled with fantastic options. I tried the Lamb Curry accompanied by rice and Garlic Naan, and I was thoroughly satisfied not only with the generous portion sizes but also with the wonderful blend of flavors in the curry itself. On a different visit, I had the Lamb Chops cooked medium-rare, and I was overjoyed with my first bite—absolutely amazing. The staff deserves special recognition for being kind, helpful, friendly, and attentive to our every need. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our wine with dinner, carefully served by two servers who happened to both be named Ashlee. Every request, whether it was for another order of Naan, extra napkins, or the removal of used dishes, was promptly addressed by one of the young men on the busser crew. In today's restaurant landscape, exemplary employees like these, who are dedicated to providing great service, are highly sought after. Somehow, the Sunset Bar Grille has achieved what feels like a miracle: every team member genuinely cared about doing their job excellently. During both of my visits, the friendly chef came to our table and checked on our satisfaction with the food and service—something that's quite rare in today's dining scene and a delightful touch. This restaurant has become my go-to spot for bringing family and friends when they visit me in the Raton area. It will also be my top choice for myself since I’m not the best cook and eat out often. Outstanding in every way!"

"The last time I had Italian this good I was in Sicily heading to Gulf War I. I was impressed then and I'm just as impressed with Nana Nano Monteleone's today.Salad that is fresh, crisp, and just the thing to start the meal. The homemade Italian dressing is a great combination of taste that is created by Nana”s Nano. Unique, distinct, and makes everything start off right. Chill bumps just remembering it. Make sure you get a bottle to go. Wish I had . Authentic flavor, ample serving size, with some new touches, like Pueblo Chile Sausage, a take off of Italian sausage with their own special touch. Joey's alla Oila Ronis with just the perfect touch of oil and butter. Fettuccini that will make your mother quit cooking. Covid has dining inside an impossible, but the attention to detail in the “to-go” package insures a uncomplicated meal experience."

"Totally packed with a 20-30 minute wait after you have ordered until your food arrives! Obviouslly the locals love the place, and given another place and setting, I might have, too. But waiting so long after ordering defeats the purpose of eating out on a Sunday morning when you're hungry.The wait staff were incredible and hauling butt throughout the crazy numbers of patrons drooling for their food. I do not know what the answer is, but something needs to be done in light of their popularity. I wouldn't subject myself to such a long wait again. Anywhere.Their food is excellent. The menu choices are great and varied for whatever your taste may be.They need to find a way that they can keep up with their diner's increasing numbers."

"absolutely pleasantly surprised eating here is much more than just bbq no one in our group even ordered bbq and all we have ordered was absolutely amazing a must go-to is safe by almost courtesy service and cooked to perfection woman had the pastrami rueban (best she ever had) with sweet kartoffel friries. I had the brood cajun catfish filet with a baked kartoffel, amazing to say that our daughter had the baconn avocado and she said she loved it. Beautiful, clean and beautiful restaurant to visit. right on the carbahn, so it has easy access and many parking places."

"Ok... first off it's hit and miss when this place is open so good luck. When it is open the pizza is stellar.... I mean it's really good. I visit fairly often and last night the service was horrible. The staff is friendly HOWEVER several groups were seated before my party which is a no no in my book AND it took forever to get our order. In times past this never happened. I like this pizza place but the infrequent opening times and my experience last night soured me a bit. It's a small restaurant with a full bar and it's popular so chances of waiting are good. Just remember that. I DO think you should try this place tho."
