"I had been wanting to come here every time visiting Ames. It’s a small place and there was a 45 minute wait when we came in on a Saturday night. We waited anyway and got sat within 10 minutes. The place is tight and you can feel it is a local spot which is so nice. Their drink list was enormous with tons of options in each category. Lots of local options as well as traditional European options. Food was fantastic, my kids even liked theirs! Our waitress was working a double and seemed rushed at first but after chatting with her for a minute she seemed to relax and she was absolutely fantastic. I can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Ames!"
