"Took my daughter and son in law and grandkids to breakfast at The Nook Sunday morning. Wait was about 20 30 minutes, not too bad. Corned beef hash was a bit salty, but the pancakes were great. Nice breakfast, ate outside (weather definitely cooperated) and generally enjoyed this place. My one comment is that, with a tip, the bill came to $97.00 almost $20 per person for breakfast. Seems a bit steep for eggs, bacon, and pancakes, along with coffee and hot chocolate."

I've been here 3 times since they opened and have had yummy pancakes, crepes and omelettes. The staff is friendly. Parking is easy. One of the best breakfast/brunch spots in the valley.

Big Momma Eggs is my favorite. However the Pancakes, French Toast and Waffles are excellent too. All the sides you expect and cooked perfectly. Go for breakfast during the week or on the weekend.

Amazing pancakes, fabulous eggs, and chicken Apple sausage to die for...the nook is simply fabulous. On top of that, the service is incredible! The staff is friendly and so attentive. My friend had the huevos rancheros, and they looked so good, I'm getting them next time! View menu

Quite the variety on their menu here. I like the array of options. Wasn't blown away by the food, but it was good and certainly better than Denny's/Ihop level. Their crepes are cooked perfectly--just like street crepes you might find off the streets of Paris. It can get a little noisy in there when busy and the wait on weekends can be long. Definitely allow 30 mins or so.

This is a nice and clean restaurant, can't say a bad thing about the restaurant. However, it is pricey. My breakfast with coffee over $17. My omelette was good, not spectacular $17 worth. What irked me was the hash browns. They serve a huge mound of them, crispy like I ordered, but the inside was mushy like oatmeal. I scraped them off to my toast plate. A clean place though.

I had a delicious breakfast at The Nook. The employees were very friendly and attentive. The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from. I ordered the MVP omelette with house potatoes and it was delicious. The food was well-seasoned, not greasy, and fresh. The cold green tea latte was also good. Free parking was a bonus. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. View menu

We love The Nook! We've never had to wait long, there is an area for waiting that is covered, the food is delicious! They have a large menu with sweet and savory breakfast/brunch options. There is a quaint mural painted inside, makes you feel like you're dining in Europe! There is also outdoor seating where they allow pets. On a warm day, make sure you get under an umbrella, it can get hot!

There's a million breakfast places around Los Angeles but if you happen to find yourself in Encino, visit the Nook. They serve breakfast and lunch and do it very well. Aside from an extensive menu, you can customize your order how ever you would like. Pancakes and Waffles come in every imaginable variety as do the Eggs and Omelettes. Lunch selections are equally ambitious and varied. Highly recommended.
