"This is the first time I have come to this old establishment across the Newport pier in 7-8 years. As I entered I felt nostalgic as it brought a ton of memories back. As we sat down, we saw the menu which has remained pretty much the same other than the prices. Most dishes run you around $20. I was torn between the chicken Parm and the spaghetti Vesuvius as I wanted some protein but based our servers recommendation I went with spicy spaghetti that come with chunks of chicken sausage and meatballs. Salad came out fairly quickly and so did their hot bread loafs. Our food took a bit but the place was packed on a Friday night so it was understandable. I was disappointed with the spicy Vesuvius and the sauce only covered a third of the spaghetti which was well cooked. I was also disappointed in the sauce as there was literally one piece of chicken. Most of the mean was the meatballs pieces but can’t imagine that there was more than 3 ounces of meat. The food was barely 3 stars for me. Our meal was topped off with a scoop of the spumoni ice cream. It was a nice walk through the past but given what the prices are now and the disappointment in the quality of the food, it will likely be another 7-8 years before I visit again. Vegetarian options: You can get all pasta with marinara sauce"

The manager is so rude and unhelpful unlike other resturants.

Family favorite, especially this location. Can make online reservation. If you like cheese get the mizithra w/ brown butter, love it with angel hair.

If you are into good food, great atmosphere in a historic building. This is your place! Parking: Be prepared to either walk or pay to park, it's worth it!

Best bread and Caesar Salad. On the other hand, tried the fettuccine Alfredo, didn’t eat 10% of it. Otherwise, pretty good. Next time we’ll try other dishes. View menu

The food was delicious, and I appreciated that it included a salad, an entrée, and ice cream. However, I do think the portion sizes could have been a bit larger.

5 stars service was great. The only part was that it smelled inside, which has usually been the case at all locations I have visited. I don't know why. Maybe it's the type of cloth on the seating.

The restaurant was clean, and the server was friendly. Unfortunately, they were out of lasagna on a Monday at 5:30, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, they do not allow anyone over the age of 12 to order from the kids' menu. View menu

Cozy, authentic Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. I've been a regular at this small family-owned chain for years, visiting various locations. While the food may not be extraordinary, it’s comforting and familiar, staying true to its roots without pretensions. I really appreciate that, especially their mini sourdough loaves.

Came here to redeem the birthday coupon for a free classic pasta dish. Each entree comes with bread, a choice of salad or soup, and ice cream. The salad was pretty sad with just like iceberg lettuce and a choice of dressing. For the entree, I chose the Potpourri, which is spaghetti noodles with 4 sauces (marinara, meat sauce, clam sauce, and mizithra cheese . It is fun to try different sauces, but it is weird to have it all mixed together. My favorite was the mizithra cheese sauce! The meat sauce just tasted like marinara sauce and didn’t have much meat. The clam sauce only had like 2 clams in it. My bf got the meat lovers treat. I tried the meatballs and sausage, which were solid, but on th...
