"This was my first time at The Palms, so didn’t have many expectations. We were seated ahead of our reservation and our server(s) were very attentive—maybe too attentive? We got wine, appetizers, salads, and main plates, and all that took 45 minutes. Prompt is nice, but it felt like they were trying to turn our table and get us out as fast as possible, when in fact we were out for a birthday and wanted to go slow and enjoy the evening. The food was much better than expected—in fact, this is the only thing that’d bring me back. The ambiance felt like a fancier-than-normal catering place; live music (well, tracked) was fun but extra loud so it was hard to have a conversation. Decent place, but probably wasn’t the best for a quiet birthday date with my wife."

Overall, the experience at this restaurant was good, however, the Sea Bass Kebab was undercooked and the Wedge Chicken Salad was not very well presented and needed extra dressing. The ambiance at this restaurant is the best in Fresno for a lunch setting, and the server was very attentive.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. It was our first time at the Palms and we weren't sure what to expect. There was live piano and singing in the bar area, which was a bit loud and made it hard to talk to others at our table. The service, while polite, was a bit slow. Our food took a while to come out after ordering and our requests took a while to be fulfilled. However, the food was amazing and beautifully presented. The bar had a wide selection of wines, bourbons, cognacs, and cocktails. We will definitely be returning based on the quality of the food and presentation alone.
