"This location has always been my go to since it?s so convenient to access while working downtown. The food is always really good and everyone is always able to assist when you need help choosing something or with add ons. Was there today and was looking for something clean to eat that would help with the allergies, Dwight and Bailey suggested to add Bee Pollen to my smoothie which ended up helping out a lot. Truly enjoyed my experience."

I truly adore Pit and the Peel, and I think this location in the James Center is the best one! The peanut butter smoothie and the sunny side up avocado toast are simply incredible.

They don’t stick to their advertised closing hours. I walked over and got there at 2:40, only to see a “closing early” sign. An employee was inside vacuuming, and the door was locked.

This is an excellent place to check out for breakfast or lunch in the downtown business district. The personal pizza was delightful! The service was prompt and friendly, especially given that the food is prepared fresh.

I always have a fantastic experience at The Pit And The Peel The James Center. I visit weekly and usually order the açaí bowl or bagels, which are consistently delicious. What truly keeps me coming back, though, is the wonderful staff—especially Bailey, who always greets me with a positive attitude and offers great recommendations. Keep up the excellent work! "I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. The tuna belly made me think I was eating quality tuna from a can soaked in olive oil. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was a bit tough and on the dry side, and I didn’t finish it. I don’t usually eat anchovies since I’m not a fan of the typical fishy taste, but was assured that their version wasn’t fishy at all the way they prepare it. I ate a piece or two but couldn’t finish it. Soaking the anchovies in olive oil did not hide the fishy taste. Some people may like that fishy taste, but I definitely didn’t. The cheese plate was okay. The crackers weren’t anything special, and the amount of cheese was pretty minuscule. The tomato salad was actually the only thing I ordered that was delicious, and the only thing we actually finished. After being at the restaurant for almost two hours, the gnocchi had still not come out. We told our waitress we didn’t want it and decided to leave. I heard so many great things about Adarra and had such high hopes. But after such a disappointing meal that we paid over $200 for, we will not be returning."
