"Ate here last night and had a terrific meal. I don't get the negative reviews for this place unless it just had growing pains in the beginning. Service was super friendly and attentive. I had one of the best margaritas I have ever had--not too sweet and made with fresh lime juice (and big). The cornmeal-fried calimari was delicious with added various peppers and tomatoes also fried in cornmeal. The fish tacos were a hearty portion and amazing with some kind of sauce or salsa that was memorable. My husband enjoyed the the artichokes and a fish and chips special. Atmosphere is casual and friendly. Added bonus was that the prices are very reasonable. I spent double at Nick and Toni's last week for a very mediocre meal. I hope this restaurant sticks around because it is going to become our next go to."

A great new casual addition to the Hampton scene but without the scene! The food was great and well priced. My kids loved it as well. View menu

Super happy this place seems to be on track. From host to server, staff was great. Food was quite good. Wish the Town of EH would get over themselves and allow outdoor seating again...

We had to wait almost 10 minutes to even be approached about seating. While the servers were nice the service was terrible appetizers came at the same time as entrees. Wine list completely overpriced. Salads weren't bad. Fish tacos were awful.

We have been to this restaurant 3 times since they opened before this visit. We like the old menu and were very disappointed with the new menu. The Cesar salad was half a romaine with a few corn kernels and sprinkle of powdered cheese. My husband enjoyed his oyster po boy which was a special. My martini was good. We won’t be back unless they add be knour favorites: seafood over pasta and tuna. Randi M

Portions were TINY!!! 8 steamers in an order. Seriously, we counted! Ordered that and artichoke for 3. Tasty but way too skimpy. We actually told the waiter we were starving. You would think he would have said order more. The special blackened mahi mahi was also teeny tiny (smaller than my small iPhone) and COMPLETELY tasteless. Waiter’s answer was to bring us hot sauce. Did I mention for this poorly seasoned food and tiny portions it was really expensive. Needless to say, not even giving it a second chance

"Yesterday, my sisters treated me to Brunch for my birthday at Venture, where I had previously eaten at for lunch and had fond memories of (pre-pandemic). Unfortunately, it's changed, and not necessarily for the better in my view. I remember it as being a farm-to-table gem, where you could find innovative and healthy options as a regular thing. Maybe you still can achieve those but just not at Brunch on a Sunday. I first thought I'd get the Cherries Jubilee French Toast; but upon finding out from our server that the cherries were going to be the consistency of cherry pie filling I searched for something I hoped would be healthy. I picked from the regular Brunch menu the King's Plate because I figured the root vegetable hash would offer some tasty and relatively healthy ingredients. The flavors of the root vegetables were sadly overpowered by the excessive garlic in the heavy sausage gravy. The homemade biscuit was a perfect accompaniment, however. It just would've been nice to have some fresh fruit served with it. There was nothing on the regular or particular Sunday Brunch specials menu to recommend it for a 2nd try. I may give regular lunch another try. Or I may go somewhere I'm more confident of getting a healthy, fresh, reasonably priced meal. The service was great, and as always, I tipped our server of her effort, not my satisfaction with the food. There's great potential at Venture, and I always remembered it as being a great destination restaurant- one you'll drive more than the usual miles to get to- but it needs some work to recreate a more universally enticing menu."
