"I've been eating here for years and I've never had a bad experience. The food and service are consistently excellent. My favorite dish is the chicken tacos. Their burgers are also excellent as well as the fish and chips. I recommend sitting on the outside patio. Vegetarian options: They have something for everyone. Parking: During busy times, it can be difficult to find parking. They have a small lot in the back. There's also street parking on Main and several public parking lots including a parking garage but that will require some walking. Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu."

Fantastic wings! Be sure to visit on Monday for 50-cent wings. They are large, not overly sauced, and absolutely delicious. The service was fast; we only waited 30 minutes, which was definitely worth it.

Very nice location for a restaurant, dog friendly, but man, the food is awful. Went a few months ago and got a stone cold hotdog. Gave it a second chance today and got a giant plate nacho mush. Terrible.

I can confidently say that this is the worst food I have ever paid for. We ordered nachos, concerned that the portion would be too large based on the menu description, but there was no need to worry. What we received was, quite literally, just a handful of tortilla chips topped with flavorless, watery salsa and a bit of cheese. We also tried the fried pickles, but they were so salty that they were inedible. I highly recommend staying away from this place.

What a great place! We visited for the weekend and wanted to catch our favorite UGA Dawgs game. After doing some research, we discovered Town Tavern and are so glad we chose to go there! The staff was fantastic, even though they were busy with other visitors wanting to watch college football. We both ordered salads, and let me tell you, they were enormous! The prices for food and beer were very reasonable, and our server encouraged us to stay for the entire game. If you're looking for a dining spot in Blowing Rock, make sure to put Town Tavern at the top of your list!
