Tommy Bahama Marlin

I just attended a wonderful Yelp event by Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar-and-Grill! What a fantastic location with wonderful staff, food and drinks! I always bring family and friends here when they visit the city. This experience was VIP. I will definitely be back! Thanks Raul and team!

I had never dined at a Tommy Bahama restaurant before, but I’m definitely planning to return more often. The atmosphere captures the typical bright, tropical island vibe that Tommy Bahama is known for. There are plenty of choices, from salads and sliders to appetizers. However, the drinks are truly the highlight. I highly recommend trying the frozen mai tai and the hurricane tater tots.

This a fun place! Strange that they don't have table service... (Pro tip: sit at the bar and you can skip the counter) the food is surprisingly good considering it's a weird chain restaurant attached to a over priced clothing store... The Happy Hour menu is great $10 martinis! There is a good variety on the menu and everything seems to be quite tasty... In the afternoons/evenings they even have live music. Definitely worth a stop! Came for a happy hour for their frozen drinks and not disappointed them! Get the frozen May Tai! And like all others, I recommend the perpetrator. We also ordered a peach frozen cocktail, the frozen pink marlin, cauliflower appetizer and coconut shrimp. Everything was delicious. Crystal, our server, took care of us. We enjoyed our first visit here. Great ambience with the saxophone player at the front. They also gave us a postcard that we could send to our friends!

2 words..HURRICANE TOTS! I am still dreaming about them and when can I go back to get more. They are so delicious! The crispy tots were also cooked perfectly and great if you love a plain tot. We just stopped in for a quick drink and tots. The rest ofthe menu looks delicious as well. I have had their key lime pie previously and it was amazing. To drink beers, wine and I havethe raspberry jalapeno drink. It was tasty and not too spicy. Service was friendly and quick. They were slow due to Coachellaand we loved it. Several servers approached us to just talk and we felt very welcome and comfortable. Sat outside in courtyardtype space with heaters. Great place to stop in

The crispy nachos were also perfectly cooked and great if you enjoy simple, straightforward flavors. We stopped by for quick drinks, and the rest of the menu looked tempting too. I’ve had their key lime cake before, and it was amazing! I tried both beer and wine, as well as the raspberry jalapeño drink, which was delightful and just the right amount of spicy. The service was friendly and efficient, even though they were a bit slower due to Coachella. We felt very welcomed, with several servers checking in on us. We were visiting the museum and walked down the street wanting each dinner on the boulevard and came across this restaurant. We missed Happy Hour by minutes. I had the cuban sandwich with side salad and lemonade. The sandwich was panini style and the salad had a lot of. Ingredients. The lemonade was homemade . I enjoyed everything!! My wife had jerk chicken tacos with mango salsa and a key lime martini. She also had a vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. The chicken was spicey, though good too!! We visited the museum and strolled down the boulevard, where we came across this restaurant. Unfortunately, we missed Happy Hour by just a few minutes. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with a side salad and lemonade. The sandwich was made in a Panini style, and the salad was packed with various ingredients. The lemonade tasted freshly made, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! My wife opted for the Chicken Tacos with Mango Salsa and a key lime martini. She also had a vodka martini garnished with blue cheese olives. The chicken tacos had a nice kick to them, which was delicious!
