Susie was an awesome server. She gave me suggestions off the menu and was friendly. (She made me feel at home. She seemed to be the only one working our area and did not complain but made sure everyone was taken care of. We will definitely come back tovisit Susie and for some delicious tacos. Thank you! The service has always been EXCEPTIONAL! NELA is one of the reasons I keep cominghere. Her customer service is EXCELLENT, every time I see her, she always has a smile on her face and always friendly andcordial. Food is great, service is always fast. Doesn't matter how busy they are, their servers are always glad to see you. Oneof the best restaurants in San Antonio!!!

I was craving Mexican food (actual authentic) the kind you can only find in the west and south of San Antonio, I recently moved to the north and had yet to find a good place that reminds me of the south side or that had any actual authentic flavors?here in the north side you tend to find chain restaurants or fake Mexican food but FINALLY!! I found this little place looking for a place for lunch I stumbled here. and I am coming back!! The tortillas are HOMEMADE, so for sure going to buy breakfast tacos tomorrow here!! The food is good, very descent. The staff is very friendly, I usually go to other places but whenever I am around that area this is my place of choice. I do like the corn tortillas and the tacos are very good early in the morning. Also the staff there takes really good care of me. They?re extremely friendly with the customers and even coming in, we get greeted very kindly by the cashier. I like the fact that you can seat wherever you want. Sometimes it gets packed but me and my family keep going back every opportunity we get. I am all about service so we get great service. I am very disappointed and sad with my visit. I ordered the caldo de pollo as I have in the past and loved it. This time around it doesn't come with Spanish rice on the side. I can deal with that. What I can't deal with is being sick and having my husband drive 30 minutes to get me food that is clearly days old and chunky. I can normally stomach food that isn't good and not write a bad review but this is so unacceptable. I added the cilantro to maybe give the caldo some kind of flavor and was once again disappointed to see it was all tiny stems and barely any actual cilantro. My girlfriend and I came here for brunch on Saturday and didn?t have the best experience. Once we were seated our waitress immediately asked if we were ready to order. We still needed a few minutes so she just got us our drinks. Once we ordered shedidn?t come back for another 45 minutes with our food while everyone else who was seated after us was receiving their food. Whenshe did comeback with our food it was room temperature and it wasn?t our entire order. The portions were mediocre at best anddidn?t taste what they cost.
