"This is the first review I’ve done. First visit to this restaurant, and the last. The food was awful with the exception of the “warm” pickle fries as an appetizer. My wife and oldest son, had fish and chips, looked like kids meals, with two very small pieces of fish. The fish was terrible tasting and cold on the inside , with what looked to be frozen potato wedges. They did not eat their meals, But to the credit of the restaurant we were not charged for them. I had a hamburger steak with burnt brussel sprouts. I ate half of everything and left the rest, it was not good. My other two kids had child’s chicken tenders with fries. The fries were good the chicken was not. Needless to say we will not go back. But on the other hand. The server we had did a great job the food was not his fault. We had to go get food elsewhere after we left. Sorry I had to leave a bad review, but it deserved it."

Absolutely enthusiastic that Toonez Chophouse is in Marion, NC. A fabulous addition. Steak was a perfect medium rarely cooked with excellent taste and juicy tenderness. Twice baked potatoes and roasted squash were perfect. The salads were fresh and full of great ingredients. Very recommended. We often come back. Beverages were also on point and our server checked exactly the right amount for us.

Dined on a Sunday afternoon. Seated promptly. Server was spot on. Ordered a glass of wine and the Southern Fried fish and FFs. Surprised that I got two rolls before the food came out. Nice touch. Fish came out hot as well as the French fries. Gotta say that was some of the best fish I have had in a while. Crunchy in the outside. Flakey on the inside. So much fish that I couldn't finish it all. Give them a try!!
