Top Notch Beef Burgers

Not much to say about this place aside from being the best burger I've had in Chicago! Parking is a bit of a problem, but the burger itself is worth the hassle!!!! Seasoned all the way through, cheese melted definitely a must visit!

I have been going to Top Notch for 40 Years. They have fantastic burgers, they grind and form the burgers on site. The fries are fresh cut, so fresh. The soups hit the spot and their old fashioned shakes are the best. Everything on the menu is tasty and fresh you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

My favorite turkey burger joint in Chicago so far! I say so far because I am always looking for the absolute best turkey burger in the city. The name of the resturant says Beef Burgers but the Turkey Burgers of the business. The burger is moist and always properly seasoned. They grind their own beef and occasionally offer a bone for you to take home for your dog. They also cut their own fries. The burgers here are incredibly delicious—words can't do them justice! I'm disappointed they closed their second location near 95th and Cicero. The only downside to this spot is the challenge of finding street parking, plus you'll need to pay at the meter.

This charming little restaurant may be small and unassuming, but it offers fantastic food at great prices. The turkey burger is bursting with flavor, and be sure to complement it with a milkshake made the traditional way—just milk and ice cream, no fillers! It's a perfect spot for families to enjoy a meal together. With friendly service and delicious, affordable food, this place is a beloved institution in the southside!

Had the 3/4 with sharp American and grilled onions. This is the best no frills burger in the business. It's not your hipster burger or new fangled burger topped with the pantry and fridge. This an old school lunch counter burger that is unbelievably delicious! The meat is freshly ground, the bun perfectly soft and warm, cheese melted and salty and the onions buttery soft. I grew up on Top Notch burgers. I'm a Beverly brat and I first started going to Top Notch back when they were in their old location near the 95th Street Metra station. And the amazing thing is that their burgers and fries taste the same now as they did back then and how often do we get to say that about the food we grew up loving? Whenever I'm back home I always squeeze in a meal here and it's always the same thing a King Size Cheeseburger with fries and if I think I have the room for it, a milkshake. And during all these years I've never been disappointed. Sure the place looks dated and a bit worn down since the new location opened up about 30 years ago, but everything else is the same.

This is another Burger place from CB (Chicago 's Best) top ten burger joint in Chicago land.(we are trying all 10) The place looks like an old fashion burger place. We found paid parking on the street. We walked in and a sign says seat yourself so we did. We (not kidding you) waited 25 minutes before we got up and grabbed a waitress to take our order. She seemed upset because she was taking our order. the burgers came out fast and they tasted ok. nothing special just like a regular burger. The fries were good. I had the Mexican Burger my Husband had the king burger and the kids had the regular cheeseburger. I wouldn 't go out of your way to eat here. I would of left waiting that long for som...

Now you see it, then you don 't. I became acquainted with Top-Notch Beefburgers when they made an appearance on the Chicago 's Best television show. But that segment was all about Top-Notch 's restaurant in Oak Lawn. So what happened? Not long afterward, the Top-Notch in Oak Lawn closed because of dwindling sales.
