"I had a pork bao bun and the Sammy ramen with sweet corn. I do think that the bao bun was missing something like shredded carrots. It needed something more. The ramen was absolutely delicious. I ate my entire bowl. It was that good. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. Our food came out in a timely manner. I will say that inside, there were a lot of flies. Having worked in the industry, it's really important to have that under control especially if there is raw fish around. I also don't think that management was present in the front of the house. There were employees on their phones and eating in front of customers. I do think that was also distracting. That's why I gave a 4 instead of a 5. But I will definitely be coming back for more ramen."

My family loves torino. We love their miso hot and veggie ramen. Kids love chicken karage and plain bob.

The food was good, but I'm not sure if I would recommend it to another vegetarian. I wish there were more vegetarian options available on the menu. View menu

The place is so tasty, they have a lovely inside, and also sidewalk dining. The food is fresh and so good. I really love the different bao buns they have.

The ramen at this restaurant was good, but not outstanding. I decided to round up my rating from 3.5 stars because of the helpful staff, tasty ramen flavors, and the availability of vegan appetizers. They offer one vegan ramen option, as well as several interesting alternatives for noodles.

This is my favorite Ramen place on the North Shore. I always crave this place in the cooler months or if I’m under the weather. They let you customize Ramen! If you visit in the summer, they have outdoor seating. At times they are very busy and takeout can take over an hour, but it is well worth it. Staff has always been attentive and friendly. Located in the upscale neighborhood of Wilmette in Chicago, serving Ramen, salads, bao buns and sushi. I had the seasonal Cauli V ramen with gluten-free kale noodles and it was delicious! It was a large portion, otherwise I would have loved to try the mango rolls (next time). You can customize your ramen with a variety of add-ins. You should trust their recommendations as they really know their stuff!

I’ve had vegan ramen twice now from other places and either the noodles were pretty gross or the vegan ramen they gave me was nothing more than a few slices of mushrooms and sprouts plus noodles and lots of broth...Torino actually puts quite a bit in the bowl and looks full, just like everyone else’s. I did ask for soy sauce to up the salt factor but the taste of the broth was delicious, the kale noodles were really good and I liked their texture, and the restaurant is also decorated nicely. It’s a cute spot with good foodWill definitely go again.

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."
