"What a hidden treasure in the international district! I have the luxury of diving and sitting right next to the chef. Chef Sho served us katsu roasted rice, Onigiri and several rolls. This was really an amazing experience, after eating I got the chance to talk to Sho and learn more about his practice history of the restaurant. It has been since the beginning of the family and had many hometown legends like Ichiro often. Besides the food, the seating is quite cozy, but don't let that shy you from what's waiting inside! Best to call weeks in advance to book your reservation as they are always in high demand. 10/10 would be next time I would visit Seattle! Perfect walking distance from the Kinokuya bookshop if you are looking for something you do before your meal."

This is one of the best Japanese joints in the neighborhood when it comes to foodIf the service was a little better, I'd give it 5 stars.

Sho and his team took care of us very well! We took every place. I counted we had 30-ish people there. I just took some pictures. This is my favorite sushi place and it will also be yours! View menu

This was by far our favorite place to eat on our trip to Seattle. I found it on the street from the hotel where we lived on maps and thought we would give him a chance. It didn't disappoint! First I love how there are no turtles on the outside. It feels like a secret little place from which only locals could know. Secondly, the atmosphere and aesthetics of the place are perfect. While it is small, it is very cozy. Third, the food is DELICIOUS! We loved everything we tried and planned to make sure we come back when we find ourselves in the city!

It was pretty good! We came here for an early Sunday dinner and was impressed! The place is kind of hard to find because of the subtle sign, but super easy to find parking in the area. I would highly recommend the nigiri and sashimi here. The onigiri and sushi rolls were just okay, nothing super special in my opinion. The service was also really good, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our server also had the chef make us some off menu items based on what we liked. I don’t think any other sushi place in Seattle comes close in terms of the value you get here!
