"Food is usually good. As with anything, though, sometimes it doesn't hit the mark. Service can be good but, at other times, will have a lot to be desired. Went last night the service was excellent, however, the time before, our server was really bad we hardly ever saw her. When we did, we had to summon her over or she would've just continued to ignore us. Our daughter even tried to be friendly, giving her the benefit of a doubt, asked if she was really busy. The server denied that she was! So, unfortunately, you won't always get the best service; just hope you won't get the gal that bartends as well. Additionally, don't expect to order get your food right away; it does take a little longer for them to get it out to you. Not the best if you have little ones. Last night, there was live music (one man playing his guitar singing). It was great he provided just the right amount of volume so that we could still hold a conversation between ourselves w/o shouting or just sit back to listen enjoy. However, my daughter son-in-law commented that the last time they visited, the music was so loud they couldn't even hear themselves think! Overall, despite the inconsistencies, we still come back because the good outweighs the bad."

I am pleased that this restaurant is closing because they did not hire my girlfriend a few years ago. It seems they practice age discrimination and prefer to only hire younger employees aged 21-25 for certain reasons. I am glad to see them go. The food quality was also rated 1 out of 5.

This was our second time there tonight for my wife’s birthday. The wine and food was excellent! The service was also good considering they were very busy. Live music was also a nice touch. Highly recommend this restaurant.Dietary restrictions: My wife is allergic to nuts so they baked her some fresh chocolate chip cookies. Amazing! What restaurant does that? Super impressive.

This is a not-so-hidden gem of north Fresno. Great wine club membership, fantastic food, great mood vibe. Live music every now then, and they're starting to do special dinners based around different paired spirits wines. Sad I'll miss the whiskey dinner.The short rib dish with polenta is to die for. My lady I get it literally every visit. Great snackable/shareables. They also have a menu where you can taste 1 ounce pours at a very afforadable price of lots of different wines if you're feeling adventurous or want to try something new. Whiskey flight nights are also a thing, though I believe the days have changed. 10/10

Went there for dinner and drinks. Service is great, food is good. Wine selection is good. However, I ordered two drinks and they were off. Not enough to say anything at the moment, but enough to recommend the Wine list over the cocktail list. I had the Oaxaca Old Fashioned first. It had little too much bitters in it. I ordered a Manhattan next. It had a leaning towards Vermouth in their mix. Again, just slightly off. I'll definitely go back, but I'll stick with wine. Maybe the food changed my taste sensitivity? The Oaxaca OF isn't something I drink normally, I mainly go for an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan. Either way, great place. ?
