Absolutely beautiful place to visit and the staff is very pleasant. My husband and I ordered the clam chowder, steak tips and the beet salad. All very delicious! One of our favorite summertime spots to enjoy their beautiful seaside patio/bar with great music and friends. Highly recommend. Impressive, classical resort experience. Beautiful multi-tier grounds leading to a great beach. Several new and established time share buildings complement the layout. Great little coffee nook with fresh, delicious breads for a buck. In the month of October 2 of 3, restaurants were open. We had a taco shrimp special dinner at the Bistro, service and food very good. Breakfast in the lower level Italian area was again very good. The room was adequate, very dated with a smaller bathroom. Bed and pillows were comfy, but the room needed updating. I rented a condo for a week and loved the location and the beauty of the condo. It's extremely expensive and the condo is located in an area where there is NO PARKING. To get to your car you have to call the front desk and ask for a ride to get to your car. (You have to park in the parking area that is nowhere near the condo. You're stuck if there's no one to pick you up or take you back to your condo in the evening. Several times we had to wait for someone who was working the front desk to take our group back to our condo. The folks who did this, did it with a smile and were very efficient. This was the worst birthday I have ever had. The place was so fancy, yet they were charging $5 for bottles of water in the room with no complimentary champagne or candy on the pillows. They didn't even offer free mimosa champagne with brunch; everything had to be paid for. I was so disappointed, it was truly the worst birthday ever. A noteworthy detail is that if you are African American, be prepared to be judged by your color. It felt like they were suspicious that we wouldn't pay or couldn't afford to stay there. We stayed at the venue for a weekend wedding checking out on September 25th 2023. After checking out and leaving we noticed that my wife’s wallet containing cash, bank card, and one photo was missing. We re traced our steps at the two other places we were at besides the hotel, with no luck finding the wallet. We returned to the hotel and spoke with the desk to ask if house keeping had found a wallet and could they please re check the room if they didn’t. They informed us that nothing was found. On October 18th we received a phone call from a woman who was staying in the same room we were in. After varying our identity she said she found the wallet in the open safe of the room.
