"I've been wanting to visit Yama for months now, and finally got the opportunity to go for dinner on Wednesday. Though their hours are limited, it was well worth the visit. Casual and cozy interior, we ordered our meal at the counter spicy tuna rolls, miso ramen, the pork cutlet and fried salmon bento boxes. The boxes came with a delicious array of side salads and miso soup, arranged with a lot of care. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their food. All the food was perfectly cooked..highlight for me was the fried salmon, which was super crispy but moist and juicy inside. Absolutely delicious meal and I highly recommend visiting!!"

I am in-love with this restaurant! My partner and I have eaten here once a week for the past 4 months and we're not planning on stopping anytime soon!

Morgantown's best kept secret. Delicious authentic Japanese dishes. Not cheap but worth it. Only accepts cash. Food comes out very fast so it can be a quick lunch

Definitely one of the highlights of Morgantown! The ramen is stellar and the atmosphere looks of a traditional room in Japan; prices aren't too steep either. Service is a tad slow however but it's completely worth it. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Great authentic Japanese food! I love the chicken teriyaki bowl good portions and quality food. The staff is very pleasant and polite. My only complaint is that the restaurant is small and often busy so occasionally you have to wait. At the same time it kind of adds to the charm so it's not much of a complaint. View menu

Ventured in to Yama for the first time last night and was rather impressed. Like many others reviewing them, I will have to agree that the portion size is an issue with me, but we all have to understand that this is NOT a buffet and that Japanese dining is not geared toward large meals.  Given that, everything was delicious and I would definitely go back again. Soon. Like now!For those interested, I shared Gyoza and Takoyaki as appetizers and I had Curried Rice for the main dish. All very tasty!

Please be very cautious and careful when choosing where to invest or trade your hard earned money. It will be bad to keep this alone to myself as I came across the best binary expert ever Mrs. Patience Adamson who really helped me in trading for a commission of 20% after withdrawals of my profit was made successfully. She is very reliable and diligent in her work. All I did was invest $800 and within 6-7 days she had earned me $7,620 profit. "You’re stuck in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, a small town that’s mostly known for its universities and hospitals. Let’s be honest: it’s not exactly a culinary hotspot. As your stomach grumbles, you brace yourself for yet another meal that’s just meets the edible variety. But then, while aimlessly scrolling through Google, you stumble upon a place called Volcano Japanese Restaurant. Your initial thought? It’s probably as exciting as a sushi spot in West Virginia could be? Right? WRONG. Upon arrival, you step inside, and suddenly, it’s like you’ve been teleported to Legitsville, West Virginia. Population: you. The menu is a treasure map of sushi delights, authentic Japanese dishes, and intriguing drinks. Feeling adventurous, you order the Spider-Man 3 roll, fully expecting some cheesy, gimmicky sushi experience. Instead, what arrives is a giant masterpiece of crab meat, tempura shrimp, and other flavors so divine that you consider composing a haiku on the spot. Eager for more, you decide to leave some room for a second course and opt for the chicken teriyaki with rice. The portion is just right, and the flavors? Think blended, voluptuous, and savory. As you glance over at the next table, you spot diners receiving their order on what looks like a miniature carved bridge covered in sushi rolls. That’s when you realize you’ve discovered a true culinary gem, a hole-in-the-wall that’s actually a 5 out of 5 sushi palace. A spot you will be coming back to and raving to the homies about. The service? Top-notch. The waitress was so attentive, it was as if she could read your mind. The prices are shockingly reasonable for such high-quality food and an atmosphere that feels like a mini-vacation to Japan. So, if you’re currently lost in the void of Google searches, desperately seeking your next meal, stop everything. Make your way to Volcano Japanese Restaurant, and prepare for a dining experience that’s nothing short of explosive."
